I got these for my youngest daughter who grinds when she sleeps up front and in back. I have purchased a wide variety of mouth guards throughout the years and these so far have been the best for her comfort. They retain some squish and flexibility after shaping, which is important. The shaping process was also pretty quick and simple. They came with thouro instructions on how to shape and reshape. I usually have to trim these in the back to accommodate my daughters mouth. These I would recommend not pretrimming because they are actually sized appropriately for kids and shrink slightly after shaping (I absolutely ruined the first one I shaped, it ended up way too small). I received 6 in my box instead of the 4 in the description, which no complaints here I just don't remember in the past few years on any occasion getting more than what I paid for. I can't say for longevity how they are yet and will update when I get an idea. The most important thing for me is the fact that it's comfortable so my daughter actually wears it for nighttime grinding protection. These are also very cost efficient. Especially compared to the higher end mouth guards that cost significantly more and you only get one. They were all also a more rigid material that she hates to wear.

Major buyer’s regret. Hard to size to your mouth and melts too easily in the hot water and I did not leave it in there long. Don’t waste your money. The DenTek brand is much easier to use and more comfortable.

The instructions for molding to teeth were not specific enough to follow easily. It says to heat water to nearly a boil (not fully boiling), which is super vague. The first time I tried, I got it too hot and ruined it. I tried another three times with my son without success, and then my spouse tried three times and we gave up for a week. Then today I tried again using a digital thermometer starting at 150 F, then 170 F, then 190 F. So what finally worked for us was heating water to 190 F and setting mouthguard in for 10 sec. (Next time I might try 7 sec). Now it stays on my son's teeth and we are excited to have him start wearing it! I'm glad it came with quite a few mouthguards since a person can run through a couple of them when trying to get them fit to the teeth.

The guard conformed to the shape of my mouth and is VERY comfortable. One caution, scoop it out of the hot water fast because the soft material will collapse on itself. Perfect for small mouths! I'm an adult.I previously tried a mouth guard from a different company. Even though I followed their directions, it barely changed shape. It chafed and needed to be removed mid-sleep to prevent sores.

I am a woman with a small mouth and several back teeth missing on both sides. Kids size fit me perfectly after customizing and cutting sides shorter. I fit this guard to my LOWER TEETH because I have trouble with them moving as well as grinding. Wearing the guard on my lower jaw keeps those teeth in place so they don't move and hit my top teeth the next day. This guard is soft and comfortable. Plus my box had 6 instead of 4 guards. Dentist was going to charge $635 for one! Very pleased!

Difficult to mold to size. We went through two already and can’t get it right.

I love these for my son who is 7. He grinds his teeth really bad at night and this has been a great changer. We can sleep and save his teeth. It was easy to set the mold, just move quickly. It really helps that there are multiple because he lost the first one, and I melted the 2nd one.

I really like that they are thicker than most grind guards. My son has shredded his old one pretty fast. This one seems to be a lot more durable and he seems to think it’s more comfortable than his old ones, the material is durable, it was easy to form, and it’s a great value for the money. He didn’t mention a taste. All in all I am very satisfied and my son says “5/5 stars!”
