I bought this product for my macOS system based on the product description that said works with macOS. That is wrong. After I received the device, I tried to find drivers on the manufacturer's website, but there were none for macOS. I couldn't find any useful information there and calls to the manufacturer were never helpful. Finally, I found link to establish a trouble ticket. There was no response for a long time, but finally got an email from a senior tech who clearly stated that their device does not support macOS. Amazon stated when I wanted to return the item to them, that I should go to the manufacturer. But the manufacturer said they did not sell to Amazon and some other group probably bought their product and sold it through Amazon. Accordingly, they would not accept a return from me. So, if you use macOS stay away. If you don't it could be really great -- I never got to know.

Does not work on my new windows 11 windows computer. Even tried to install with compatibility mode and it does not work. Even though I indicated it did not work on the return, i was charged a restocking fee.

I bought this specific model because the description says that it supports Mac OS X. Plugged it in and it didn't work. Looks for a solution online, and it just says that it doesn't work with Mac.

I purchased the fingerprint reader for use on my PC running Windows 11. I followed the instructions for installation but wasn't able to make it work. I returned the unit.
