Flightless (Drosophila hydei) Fruit Fly Culture - *Newly inoculated*

Arrived perfectly, brimming with flies, and even came with an extra pack of food. Very pleased with this purchase.

All I found was some goo at the bottom of the container. I’m guessing it got too hot in transferOh oh I should have read the instructions.The flies are beginning to hatch.So far just two flies. It’s been a week since delivery.

Great product, flies were alive and active. Good experience over all, look forward to buying more.

I purchased these recently for my beginning ant colony (Camponotus vicinus). I'm happy to report that theseflies arrived quickly, alive, and healthy. There were a bunch of flies already in the container when they arrived and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. My ants love them too! Will buy again when these run out!

We have a couple tiny toads and they loved these. I may order again - but considering getting a breeding kit to do it myself until the toads are big enough for crickets.The flies are truly flightless - tho they do hop!I set them on the a/c vent for a bit before releasing them in the tank. Not sure if that made them slow down or not.If I do buy them again - I will definitely return to this shop. The majority of the flies were still alive - just make sure you’re checking for them because they are usually just put in the mailbox

Came alive and full of flies.

I ordered 2 of these colonies to ensure that at least one of them would be ok. I also paid an extra 40 dollars for the fastest shipping, and when they were delivered, they were brought inside and opened immediately to find that they were all dead. I would very much like some replacements please as I am desperate for these to feed my children's jumping spider and praying mantis.
