I have built 9 metal models. This is a quality model with everything fitting perfectly. Not finished yet with about 75% completed. Bought stand with light kit. Directions are clear if you have metal model experience.

I bought this for my dad for Christmas. He builds 3-d wood models all the time. I thought ... why not metal?He was so excited to start but when he did the metal pieces would break in areas that weren't suppose too. He said it was so cheaply made and ended up getting so frustrated that he ended up packing up the box and throwing it out. This made me so upset as I not only bought the titanic puzzle but also the lighting unit that was suggested as well. I paid almost 80.00 and then shipped to Canada. Will never order again.

By far, the best all-metal model on the market. I'm a Titanic buff, and the model is extremely accurate. Some of the pieces are VERY small and will take a good amount of patience to put together, but it is well engineered. Highly recommend getting the wooden base for it, the lights add so much to the model itself, and definitely help when viewing the scenes inside the hull. Overall just a great product. Well worth the money.

If you want the lights and electronics kit, you MUST order the bracket. I'm guessing that the manufacturer was trying to keep the price down by selling the bracket separately. If you don't buy the bracket, there is a small stand that comes with the ship, but there won't be any lights. You cannot change your mind and add the lights after finishing the build, because they are placed under the deck of the ship.I've included pictures of the boarding pass and pieces of the bracket. The bracket is a heavy plastic that is perfect for supporting the weight of the ship.I've built over 200 metal models. This is an ADVANCED model, and it's not suitable for beginners or even moderately skilled builders. This is why I rated it 4-stars for "easy to assemble" and "giftable." Unless you're giving this to an experienced builder, I would not recommend giving it as a gift. The instructions are excellent, but only if you have some experience in building this kind of model.That being said, this is a fabulous model with incredible detail! I thoroughly enjoyed building it.

My neice loved the finished product but building this is very intricate and takes great patience. It looks beautiful when done.

I purchased this 2 times and the electronics are missing. The box says 6 lights, glue, tape and screw driver are included however they are not in this box or the other box that I purchased.So sad for the money that's spent. People done have money or time to keep ordering and sending back.So I waited it's now the 10th have not received any word from the manufacturer on sending out the lights so I want a refund. Not wasting anymore of my time.

I gave this kit a solid 5 solid 5 stars for any experienced metal model builder. I do not recommend this kit for a beginner or gifted to one.Instructions are spot one and easy to understand, all parts fit perfectly. Make sure to buy the stand/light kit with it as it isn't included.This model 18"inches long and will be taking a very visible spot in my house.

I brought the model and the stand which includes the electrics and I am very happy with the build and the finished model. If you want the lights, which I think are needed to take the model to the next level, you need to buy the stand as well. It is a fairly difficult build but well worth the effort as it is a beautiful finished model. The lights are powered by a USB connection with the lead included and the brightness can be adjusted. It takes a bit of time and patience to build it but it is well worth it.
