Big and beautiful.
The media could not be loaded. This a premium screen, and has an excellent weighty build to it.It comes shipped in a sturdy box, with plenty of high density foam to protect it.In use it takes around 10 seconds to rise and retract. And using the remote, you can easily program the exact height which suits your room the best. There is also a usb adaptor, which is pre-paired with the projector.Just plug this adaptor into your projector, and when your projector powers on it will automatically raise the screen. Neat.It is a huge screen and is long, so measure your space where it is going before purchase. The picture showing the extension lead, gives you an idea of it's size.In use it smoothly and quietly glides up and down to its set position. At the back are very strong folding mechanisms, which keep the screen nice and stable. And the tension wires on the side, do a great job of keeping the screen perfectly flat when extended.in terms of performance, I tested it with an older but good Benq 1080p projector. This normally beams onto a white wall. The video I have done shows the picture on the wall, and then with the screen.Harder to tell with the video, but there is some gain in brightness, and definite gain in colour and image quality. And this is from a 1080p projector. So the difference would be even greater with a 4k projector.Overall, it is definitely a nicer watch using this projector screen.the screen doesn't have any audio pass through section, so any speakers are best used to the side or front of the projector. With my soundbar behind it, you could tell the sound was slightly muffled with the screen up.This screen would be ideal in areas where you don't want a screen to be up permanently, and want to use the space for other uses.In use it is simple to use, especially with the usb adaptor and picture quality is amazing.Just need to treat myself to a 4k projector now, to really show it off!

Impressive but confusing
The media could not be loaded. At 236cm long it's a very big piece of kit.Pretty quiet. A lovely matt white screen measuring 223 x 162cm.Operated by cantilevered joists at the back, it's a very solid item. The remote is designed to be wall mounted, though I think it would be best to use a learning remote and add the codes to a macro when you want to use this. Why did I mark this down 1 star?I struggled with the remote for a while trying to work out how to open it without breaking it, and then when I did I saw the U2 button though I couldn't find in the manual what it's for. I assumed it's part of the USB set up, though I can't confirm that. The USB dongle still remains a mystery. I've searched everywhere, inside and out and can find no socket for it to plug into. And lastly, I wish the power lead had been pointing towards the rear of the unit, it just seems bad design to have it coming forward.

Impressive
This is the first proper projector screen that we have had and I was keen to see how it would compare to our TV.You need a fairly dark room but even with the curtains open the picture quality was really good in our sitting room as we don't get any direct sun really. It's easily as good as our TV which is about 6 years old and was probably due for replacement soon as bits of the screen have got damaged. I don't think I will bother now. We only have a fairly average projector that we had previously just pointed at a white wall so I am told that with a better one it would give an exceptional result. Instead of a TV I'll upgrade the projector eventually. This is a really large projector screen and it takes two people to handle it really to get it unpacked and set up into place as it's quite cumbersome and heavy. When in place though it's a doddle to operate as it connected easily to our projector and goes up and down smoothly and fairly quickly. I thought it might be a bit wobbly when its up due to the size but it seems to be remarkably stable, probably because it's quite a weighty item.I'm not a technical whizz by any stretch of the imagination but this was really quite simple to work out, the biggest issue we had was creating a big enough space but it was high time for a de-clutter anyway.

Cinema at home experience
Only now I understand why more families give up tv and I stead invest into projectors and projector screens. I have a few friends who use projectors just on a plain wall or on some sort of screen material to watch movies, and I never really was impressed and felt that tv provided much better experience. Well I have now changed my mind 100%!When the screen is delivered it is a bit heavy and quite long. So be ready and have a person who is able to take in such an item inside of your property.Once unpacked, it is very straightforward and easy to connect cable to the screen and then plug into the socket. With a press on control the screen is unfolded. It takes seconds. There is a dongle that can be connected/ inserted into your projector and once you turn on projector it will activate the screen equipment. I am not sure though if it works will all projectors or if you need to use the same brand projector. Now I do not own a fancy projector and instead purchased one of the cheapest on the market, and yet I still had a much better experience ce of watching movie than I would usually have doing so on tv.This screen is for dark rooms and the best quality pictures will be in a dark room. I am "lucky" to have a very dark sitting room with a tiny window that provides very little light so I am able to use this credentials successfully at any time of the day and enjoy great quality of the picture.I am must say I have little knowledge of projectors and screens and tech all together and my opinion is based purely on my experience on how easy it is to set it up and use, as well as on the quality of picture while using this screen. I am satisfied with it 100%. It is not a cheap screen, but then if you want to enjoy quality you need to invest a bit. I will be saving now for a quality short throw projector so I can enjoy my movie nights even more.
