RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer 4 Zone Water Timer

I recently purchased a sprinkler timer capable of controlling four irrigation zones and have been quite impressed with its performance. The setup was straightforward, and the scheduling flexibility has made managing my garden's watering needs a breeze. Unfortunately, I encountered a hiccup when the inlet port developed a crack and leaked water. However, Rainpoint's customer support was exceptional; they responded promptly to my issue and quickly sent a replacement part. Their efficient service significantly minimized the downtime of my watering system. Overall, despite the initial defect, the quality of the product and the support provided by Rainpoint have left a positive impression on me.

I bought the original controller to water my garden, it decided to leak out of the body after about 2 months. I contacted the company which sent me a new controller. After about 1 month, the second one malfunctioned.I was sent a third controller and thought I was good. While on vacation for 4 weeks, I came back to a flooded back yard, water was still running due to the top connection on the controller had broken off. My water bill doubled to $180.00.Would highly recommend steering away from this one.

Would have rated this 5 for the one that worked and continues to work well. The issue I had was leaking from the top. The outlets worked just fine and the pressure was good too. I reached out to Rainpoint about the leaking issue, and they immediately processed a replacement. Which is amazing customer service. The product is working well and I hope it continues to stay the same way. Will update if anything changes.

I have used the two outlet timers on two lawn renovations. One, 150 miles from home at a lake home which is basically used on weekends. I've had to rely on my sprinklers to function without error which they have. I have confidence they work without having to be there to watch them. I've had four sprinkler zones requiring two timers. This new timer has eliminated the need for both timers and free up my dual units for other areas I previously could not cover. My new four outlet timer is as dependable as my others that I have been useing for two years now. Programming is easy and dependable. I do wish all hose connections were brass as I am sometimes concerned I might break the plastic connection. That would make the best timer I've found even better and perhaps longer lasting. You will not be disappointed with this timer.

This 4 valve timer is LARGE compared to their 1 or 2 valve timers. It works good except for manual watering which you have to program to use each time which is not the same as the single units which are very easy. I don't have time to press the buttons which are hard to push every time to turn on the hose so I will have to use a single set up for manual watering. Otherwise it get s the job done. If not for the manual issue it would have goto a 5 star rating.
