beautiful cutlery set.
this is a very well presented and lovely set of cutlery.the shape is a little form over function but if that's your thing then i think you will love them,in the past i have had issues with similar cutlery sets from other manufacturers being less than ideal when it comes to durability but so far the matt black finish has held up very well and still looks great. should it change i will be sure to update this review.

Sturdy and look great. but a bit weird in the hand.
i like these and think they look great. but size and proportion is a bit off. knife feels too long for example. and the bases are thin. will i return them? no. im happy enough. would i recommend to my friends? probs not.

Cutlery that looks like it was designed by Dr Seuss
My girlfriend and I have just bought our first property! We’re currently going through the motions with buying new furniture and important things for the house. One thing thats a neccessity that gets overlooked is decent cutlery.I got this cutlery set mainly because I knew my girlfriend would love the crazy colours, but more importantly, we needed cutlery for the new flat!Overall, we’re very happy with this cutlery set! The crazy rainbow colouring gives it an almost 80’s neon effect. The quality of the cutlery also seems pretty decent, we’ve used and washed them a few dozen times now and seen no degradation in quality or any type of rusting. The shape of the cutlery is a bit weird, but in my opinion, this isn’t a bad thing. Initially I did notice that the stems of the cutlery are quite long when compared to conventional cutlery. One thing I also noticed was the sharp section of the knives we’re actually quite small, which isn’t great for certain meals. If you’re looking to buy some cutlery like this, however, you’re opting to go for cutlery with a unique style that’ll work well with the chosen aesthetic of your household. If you think zany, wacky cutlery like this will fit in nicely with your decor, then by all means, I highly recommend this product to you!

Rusty stains
There are rusty stains on some of the cutlery after washing in the dishwasher. I don't think they are stainless steel. I couldn't clean the stains off so I can't use these pieces now. Pity.

Well-Balanced and Excellent Cutting Edge On Knife
These are very oriental in design and get a bit of getting used to. The handles are very thin and rounded, almost like chopsticks but the balance in the hand is amazing. They are not top-heavy. The knife looks tiny compared to most English-style cutlery and the serrated edge is on the outside of the knife if using right-handed. That said, the serrated edge of the knife cuts through anything on the plate with ease. I have tried it with crispy roast potatoes, roast lamb, steak and rather over-crisped Naan bread that my usual knives struggle to cut through and nothing takes any effort. The spoons are shaped like a soup spoon rather than a dessert spoon, are quite heavy and have a thick edge which feels a little strange in the mouth. The teaspoons are exactly half a teaspoon in capacity so quite small. The set looks lovely and the colour is a proper gold. I love that they can go in the dishwasher and, so far, they have not suffered from doing so. They come in a plain cardboard box without labels which is a bit of a shame if they are to be a gift. Now I have got used to the feel of them, I quite like them and can recommend them for ease of use and being dishwasher safe.

Don't like them!
These seem to be good quality but you need to look carefully at the shape of them before buying. I will admit they do look good but practically speaking they are uncomfortable to use. The handles are long and thin and they taper at the end to almost a point. The fork head is a good shape; the knife head, whilst sharp is smaller than normal. The spoons are circular with a shallow dip in, almost like a soup spoon, similar in shape and proportions to one of those shallow fat skimming spoons. At time of review they were £46.99 for a 32 piece set (8 of each item). In summary these look great but at the sacrifice of practicality. This is a review of an item received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I make my reviews as objective as possible and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is really worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.
