I have been doing crafting for years. I used to buy really good brushes and they were old already. Then I had my son and we used some good one and some bad ones. Fast forward 20 years and my brushes were not in good shape. One thing I hated more than anything were bristles falling out and when the brush was not soft as it used to be. Probably my fault and then of course letting kids use them didn't help. I like to buy quality supplies that I can afford and not dollar store items. I hadn't done much painting in a while but I noticed some of my outdoor statues were faded and/or missing paint. These brushes are wonderful! I used them on three statues so far and no problems at all! If you need a good set this might be one you would want to try.

Nice set for hobby use. I am not painting professionally, but they suit me fine for canvas painting!

What can you expect from such cheap brushes? Not much as they fall apart within a couple paintings. The bristles just come out of the ferals in clumps as you paint.

Just learning to watercolor and this set gave me the variety I needed to follow along on tutorials.

They do have a paint thinner fume when you open them. I don't know if that is the bristles glue, handle varnish, or something they use in finishing the bristles.These hold paint and water well and don't distort or shed with use. They have enough snap back that you can do fine points to thick washes with same brush without much issue. I don't leave my brushes sitting in water so I can't speak to how the bristles will hold up if you do leave them soaking.These are surprisingly good. Grab these for your young artists or for when you want to paint without concern that you will ruin or lose your expensive brushes.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product.
