Learning Resources Word for Word Phonics Game

Played this game and the children love playing this trying to find as many words possible in the time limit, if you are working with children who find it difficult take away the timer to give them more time.

We got these to help my asd autistic son he learns kinestheticly so using his senses to help him learn and process,I don't use them as a game but as inspiration and confidence building, working really well.

Great for spelling practice. Bought for my struggling reader. A little pricy. But worth the money as it can be played as a game or used to simply work on spelling.

This is the type of game that you remember from your childhood and realize it was a big part in teaching you how to read and spell. We play a quick round after dinner often with our 5 year old and every time he gets better and better at formulating words. You also have to get creative because common words cancel out eventually. Even the adults have to use their brain. I would recommend this to an early reader (3 letter words) up to high school level and beyond because it has many levels. Challenging and fun for everyone.

My 6 year old son loves building words and sentences with this game and does learn without noticing it. Great game.

I got this to play with my struggling reader and he enjoys it. He doesn’t think of it as schoolwork and we can just spend time together playing games… all while he’s working on practicing spelling and reading.
