Good heft, feels like it's built to last. The translucent fuel window is dark enough to make the lighter look solid, but hold it up to the light and it's easy to see how much you have left. Which brings us to the pleasant surprise that it uses fuel pretty reasonably as long as you don't go nuts with the flame height. Easy to refill, as well. An excellent bargain without looking cheap.

I like this little lighter, I gave it 4 stars because I've just started using it. I bought this as a backup and a traveling lighter for my travel humidor. It's triple flame does a nice job pre-heating and lighting my cigar. It has a convenient built in punch style cigar cutter and a built in cigar rest that works good in a pinch while traveling. This lighter will also work fine when i want to enjoy a cigar out on my fishing boat. And I won't jeopardize my larger more expensive home lighter with a V cutter. Not bad for the price.

<Edit: I've had my replacement for several weeks now and the new one still works' so I changed my rating to a 3. Having to get a replacement was disappointing ' but they sent it quickly, and gave me 30 days to return the first one. It does seem to run out quickly' and often takes several attempts to light, though that seems par for the course for torches on the lower end of the price scale.>I really like this lighter. ...liked it. The adjustment know fell of on day 6 of using it. Pushing it back on, turning it to low then high so I could make sure it was on the lighter properly (and redoing this 2 more times because the know wouldn't stay on), and it started blowing a jet over 10 inches (and took several seconds of frantically shaking and blowing it out after releasing the ignition button before the flame went out, and several more seconds hearing it still blowing fuel out).Now, no matter how I try to adjust it (yes, I've got the basic "all backwards feeling" clockwise=lower flame/counterclockwise=higher flame part) it blasts out an unnerving large and powerful flame. I've decided to hope this one is not the norm, and exchange it to give this style one more try.I did really like it's feel and features when it worked. And that's not always easy to find in a torch, for me.I'll adjust this rating to a 3 if the "2nd try" exchanged lighter doesn't break down in such a short time like this one did, as negative ratings have an oddly heavier overall weight than positive ratings, and a one off error's rating shouldn't carry quite as much weight against a product's overall rating

I love the occasional cigar when I'm hiking up into the mountains at around 12-13,000 feet. Up there it's really windy, but this thing works very well.It's nice and heavy and feels durable. Great design, too!
