Great so far
I got this to replace a Motorola MA1 that I somehow managed to lose. I bought this one instead of the Motorola because the Prime Day price was amazing. The build quality is great and it was quick and easy to set up.I've only done a few drives with it so far, but it has actually been better than the Motorola. The Motorola would cut out every time I drove a specific stretch of highway and it would take about five minutes to reconnect. It would occasionally disconnect in other locations as well, which really sucks when you don't know the area and are dependent on GPS and it just disappears. I have driven through the most troublesome area with the Alxum and it has not cut out at all. It seems to me to take the same amount of time to turn on as the Motorola, but I haven't timed either. I don't have problems controlling the volume as another reviewer reported. My car is a 2023 Mazda3.

Works with my 2022 Prius Prime
Despite what was told to me at the dealer, my 2022 Prius Prime did not support Android Auto, only Apple Play. Still a great car, but I really like Android Auto, which I use a lot when I have to rent cars. I got some advice on reddit to pick one of these up, an... it just works. It was easy to connect the phone and get Android auto to work. Not expensive, no messy installation. As plug-n-play as it gets. The only catch is that you want to unpair your phone from the car and connect it just connect through this device to avoid any confusion between the hardware. Barring that, you can use Android auto for navigation, calls, music, etc.

It works most the time
So I was super tired of having to plug my phone in to my truck. As we all know, your charger port only works soo many times before it gets wonky. So this works great!....... Most the time. Every now and then it will overheat on its own and not work for a few hours till you unplug it and leave it to the side.Connecting to it is not hard. However it reconnecting itself is not a super fast process. I would like to see it connect within 5 to 6 seconds but it takes up to 25 to 30 seconds before it connects and you can use your wireless car play or android auto.

No wire connection
Finally affordable device for Android Auto, and works great. Although it doesn't like phone with VPN browser.

Reliable wireless Android Auto
This adapter worked great with my Boss Audio head unit to give me the convenience of wireless Android Auto in my Mustang, it connects fast and every time, it is definitely worthwhile if you don't want to upgrade to a newer head unit with wireless AA built in.

Goodbye, wired Android Auto!
I initially purchased this as my car's USB port for wired Android Auto could not charge my phone quickly enough to keep the battery from draining while on long rides. The installation is the most simple thing, just plugging it into your car's USB port for Android Auto (It even comes with a USB-A to USB-C adapter in the event your car only has USB-C ports). Once connected, you give it about a minute and connect your phone to the Wifi network and bluetooth of the adapter, and from then, it works exactly like built in Wireless Android Auto in any other car.I've been using it daily for several hours at a time in 110+ degree heat and it has not once overheated, failed to connect, or given me any issues. It even starts up quickly enough with my car that by the time I've put my seatbelt on, my phone is fully connected. There is no lag, and the only downside I can think about this product is that I'll have to stop using it when I purchase a car that has wireless AA built in!
