4K@120Hz HDMI 2.1 Switch 4x1 with Audio Extractor
4K@120Hz HDMI 2.1 Switch 4x1 with Audio ExtractorRarely have I seen tech that works correctly and I’m happy to say that I’m very impressed with this device. It’s breathed life back into my aging but perfectly functional receiver while preserving the image displayed by my 4k HDR projector. If you have a receiver that isn’t compatible with current video standards this is the device you want.

nice for the price
This splitter seems to be working well. However, I am not too thrilled with their user's manual. For the most part, the documentation expects the user to be able to understand the technical nuance. The instructions are not comprehensive.

Does not work well with VRR
Causes 5-10 seconds of black screen when PC with 3080ti is used through it for gaming with VRR enabled on tv and fsr or dlss enabled in game at 4k. Same settings cable straight from PC to TV no black screens. Fps counter in tv jumps around from 5-120 in game even just in game start screen that is static image. . No switch 90-120 depending on what's on screen.

Solid performing 4k switch
The 4K@120Hz HDMI 2.1 Switch 4 in 1 Out with Audio Extractor I received is actually one of the better switchers I've used so far.To run several tests, I set the system up using a sony 4k tv, a 4k blu-ray player, my cable.service, and a computer with an NVidia video card set to display 4k and audio out at 5.1 through hdmi. I set the switch to force extraction at 7.1 audio out through the fiber output into a Sony multi channel receiver. I ran several different medias, from cable, blu-ray, different streaming services, and various movies I have on my server. I tested different video resolutions from 720p, 1080p and 4k. Framerates were either standard 24fps, 30fps, 60fps, or variable (vfr). I did not test 4k @ 120hz, nor 8k.Honestly, I never experienced frame mismatching, which can result in your tv blanking out momentarily every once in a while. I also never experienced audio blanking either. The switcher simply worked. The switcher worked flawlessly using the remote. You have to plug the ir sensor into it for that to work, however. The switcher does NOT have rubber feet. I found that odd. I suppose the manufacturer expects us to squirrel the box somewhere out of sight. However, for me, that's not satisfactory. I want to have the option to reach over and change output conditions by hand- those outside the scope of the spartan remote included. Should I remove a star for no feet? Seems trivial, but worth the mention imho.I can only hope you have the same experience using this because it isn't cheap and performed up to itsasking price. What I like the most is that it has a wide range of audio extraction options and is capable of forcing 7.1 out the optic jack. It's missing a coax audio out- another option I wish it had. Overall, it impressed me as there are far more expensive switchers out there, but nothing quite like this with an all-metal housing in this price range that works as well as this has for me.Recommended hdmi switcher and audio extractor.

I wanted to like it but too quirky.
ezcooTV=LGOLED65C3PUA eARC on HDMI-2Soundbar= LG SC9S eARC input4K/8K HDMI 2.1 Switch & eARC Auddio ExtractorIt's a nice looking unit but (see below)I noticed the only reviews were from those who received the unit free. Did anyone test it thourouly?I could have tested it!How did they test it and with what brand of TV/Soundbar combo. How about audio extraction etc.I was hoping this device would allow audio extraction for use with an bluetooth xmitter for headphone use.I was not interested in the HDMI switch portion at this time. The unit is definitely not plug/playSetupSW1-Audio Source, ON (down)eARC/ARC TVSW2-Audio Device, OFF (up) Soundbar eARC/ARCPlug (soundbar eARC/ARC) HDMI 2.1 cable to the LG SC9S soundbar using an HDMI 2.1 cablePlug the (eARC/ARC TV) HDMI out to the eARC/ARC input on my LGOLEDC3 TV (HDMI 2)using an HDMI 2.1 cable.Power on TV-no audioPower on ezcoo- no audioI was able to get it to work but as soon as the TV was turned off and was then turned back there was no audio.I also tried several EDID selects. The soundbar did power on but no audio was present.I guess CEC works because the sounbar does power on/off when the TV is powered on/off.Failure modeTV was still in the HDMI ARC sound mode as verified with TV remote but still no audioThe only way to get restore sound was to turn off the ezcoo, using the ezcoo remote, which automatically places the TV in the speaker mode. (sound is present)Now I must grab the TV remote and put the TV back in the HDMI ARC sound mode. There is still no sound at this point but turning the ezcoo back on restores the HDMI ARC sound to the LG SC9 soundbar. Note just turning the unit on will without changing audio to HDMI ARC will change the TV audio to HDMI ARC but still no sound.MUST CHANGE TV TO HDMI ARC PRIOR TO TURNING EZCOO BACK ON.Note I did try different EDID select settings on the ezcoo. All is good until the TV is turned off. All the above steps must be repeated to restore sound to the soundbar.I never tried verifying the audio extraction Very tedious and painful to use this ezcoo.* every time the TV is powered back on requires1. Turn off ezcoo (TV speakers are then auto selected, sound is now present)2. depress tv *settings on LG magic remote.3. Select HDMI-ARC (no sound present)4. Depress *settings to exit setup.5. Turm ezcoo power on (HDMI-ARC now has audio sound through the soundbar)
