Great Knock-Down Passive Subwoofer, Light for an 18 inch (Electro-Voice ELX200-18S)
This is a very well balance sub, very crisp, good punch, not mushy and overly represented. If you like mushy exaggerated super punch subs this is not for you as it is a very accurate imaging sub that provides full bass.I'm driving the two I bought with a Yamaha CX-A5100 and a Crown XLS-2502 (440w/ch RMS 8 ohms load LP'd at 250Hz cutoff) and it drives these with no problems, the pre-amp isn't bridged, 1 amp drives both subs. A XLS-1502 in bridged mode at 1050w @8 ohms would drive one easily as well, but at much higher distortion.

Bad units!! I had three of them shipped to my home. Two had dented grills and cabinets dinged up the third has something clunking inside! I don’t know if something wrong with the manufacturer but really disappointingAlso Amazon sends me a email implying I abused the product and not shipping back in original packagingI have received items that had evidence of used and have sent back for that reason
