I purchased these socks based on the design. These socks have a raised back and extra back heel support . I am an older senior that does a lot of walking on various terrain. Not only are the type of shoes important, but the type of socks worn with those shoes make a difference as well.These socks are slightly thicker, which helps absorb foot moisture & adds to your foot comfort when walking long distances. I have washed these socks several times & noticed very little deterioration in material quality.I like the way the socks fit my feet and the stylist colors are a nice touch. As a senior on a fixed income the socks are a little pricy, but the overall quality is very good. I would highly recommend these socks to anyone.

I bought these for the colors, I was tired of settling for white or black. They're not as thick as Thorlo but thicker than some Asics I have bought. They wash and hold their shape and color quite well. I would buy these again without hesitation, and would buy more if they introduced more colors.

They will get ugly and pilled in the dryer BUT they are so comfortable and great, we keep buying more. They are durable and strong (aside from the dryer piling - literally no other complaints) Highly recommend. Wish they came in solid colors. Very good for the price

I'm (M) a 9.5 shoe and I ordered some 9-12s, which fit quite snug. The priority in my search was to find a low-cut ankle sock that was especially comfortable. The images and reviews really seemed to support this, so I was actually really excited for these to come in.Now, before I ordered, I actually read a 4 star review on here that said, "They will get ugly and pilled in the dryer BUT they are so comfortable and great." And I have a drying rack for clothes that I don't want to shrink or I generally just want to last longer, so I thought I'd just air-dry them and I'd be fine. But I found out real quick that was not to be.I feel the need to preface this next part by saying that I know that I'm probably doing too much just for socks. But, I do like to invest a little extra time in the name of long-term comfort, and especially on things that I use on a regular/daily basis.So, the socks came in, and they really were comfortable! But, I had purchased another pair that I was interested in and I put on one sock of each and walked around to compare comfort. I definitely liked the comfort of the Gonii sock better. They felt just a little thicker than the next brand (which is what I was hoping for), it had a really nice fit, and the cushion was noticeably better than the socks I have now, as well as the other sock I was testing. However...I have wood floors, and I noticed that with the Gonii sock I was sliding significantly more.I fought with myself for a moment, determining how much that actually bothered me. And, for me, I think the inconvenience of sliding around kind of neutralizes the benefit of the extra cushion and comfort. In fact, maybe a little more of a negative, as that could actually be a hazard in the long-run. As silly as that might seem, I'd rather be safer than feel a little extra cushion under my feet.So, I begrudgingly cleaned it off with a lint roller and started packing it back up to return, only to find that after sliding around in this sock for maybe 2 minutes tops, it had already begun to pill up! You can see in the photo attached how it's pilling up around the heel & the sole. I was honestly pretty dumbfounded. I knew that one review mentioned pilling up in the dryer, but I'd never seen a sock get so old so fast.Unfortunately, these are headed back. And I'll be damned if they try to charge me damage on these. Not saying they will, but I'm just calling it out early just in case. Pilling up during a literal 2-minute test walk is just absurd to me, and I will argue that it's a testament to the quality of the product.I do really like just how soft and comfortable they are, but I can't warrant keeping them due to just how slippery they are. I'm not sure I'd have even left a review if it weren't for the pilling happening in such a short time. Probably would have been a 4-star for just the slipping. But the pilling? I feel that for those who care enough about their socks to deep-dive these reviews, I think that's an important things to know about-- just how quickly they age.Maybe if you have carpet in your house or just don't mind sliding around or don't care about the rapid pilling, then these might just be for you. Again, they're super comfortable and I was sad to box these back up. But, unfortunately, these just aren't going to work for me.
