This is a good paddle for the price. I have no complaints. Bought a prince brand paddle first from dicks for around $20 and this one is drastically better.

Fun paddle for the begginer/intermediate player
I have played a fair amount of table tennis/ping pong over the last couple of decades and this paddle really brings that out. It's a good intermediate player paddle that is light enough to move quickly but heavy enough to still feel substantial in the hand. The overall spin you can achieve with the padded texture is decent and it seems grippy enough on the surface to allow a more advanced player some extra control. Since I'm not an advanced player I won't speak to that too much. But overall a nice paddle for recreation or a little more competitive play.

Best of the best
Stiga is a well known brand in table tennis for good reason. Its products are high quality and this paddle is no exception. It has a solid, comfortable grip that fits nicely in the hand and plays well. Compared to less expensive paddles I had on hand, this one has a much smoother, thicker layer over the surface of the paddle that makes it a pleasure to play with, allowing me to put spin on the ball more easily. There was no unpleasant smell of rubber or anything else when I took it out of the package and it was ready to play with immediately.I’m very pleased with the performance of this Stiga paddle and glad to have such a nice upgrade!
