This is a great moisturiser- light and fragrant.

The media could not be loaded. This body oil comes in a light amber coloured glass bottle and has a plastic screw cap. There is a little plastic piece fitted into the top of the bottle which controls the flow of the oil. To dispense the clear oil, tip the bottle upside down and gently shake it up and down to release as many drops as you require. Warm the oil between your hands and apply to the skin using massaging strokes.I like that this is quite a light oil so it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy afterwards, just soft and lightly nourished. Yes, I agree it's not cheap but you only need to use a few drops at a time so it will last a fair while. And you don't have to use it every day, it's lovely as part of a relaxing, sensorial, de-stressing routine when you want to pamper the body and calm the mind. Jurlique use natural, organic ingredients sourced from their own farm in Southern Australia, ensuring the quality and provenance.The scent is so beautiful. I have quite a few Jurlique products and as well as being effective and a joy to use, I love their natural, botanical fragrance. If you're not a fan of rose scented products, this oil doesn't smell at all like the twee, old lady rose scents you may have experienced in the past, it smells indulgent yet fresh and quite light. It smells stronger when first applied but dries down to a soft floral and lingers nicely without being overpowering. Whenever I use it it instantly makes me think of summer, and I feel like I've just strolled through the most beautiful rose garden.

I like the idea of body oil as I can see the benefits to my skin, but sometimes the oil is just too oily (if that makes sense!) and, even if the texture is okay, sometimes the aroma can be less than you would hope for. That is why I am so pleased to have found this body oil by Jurlique which is excellent on both counts. The texture is rich and easy to apply, and not too oily at all. It is a blend of safflower, macadamia, and jojoba oils which provide an optimal level of moisturisation and works, especially well on dry skin.The aroma is quite simply gorgeous. Sometimes rose fragrances can be really synthetic, but this is the complete opposite, it is a natural aroma which makes me think of walking through a rose garden on a summer’s day. The fragrance is subtle enough to be worn with perfume, but it is lovely enough to wear on its own too. It is long lasting as well.To apply all you need to do is warm a few drops of the oil between your hands and then massage it gently into your skin. I find it makes my skin feel instantly moisturised but there is no oily residue so there is no hanging around waiting to get dressed while the oil dries.The only downside about this oil is the price. Whilst it is a decent bottle, there was no outer packaging and it does not scream that it will be luxurious. It is indeed a gorgeous product, I just think it could be presented a bit better to give it more of a luxe look. If it was not quite so expensive, it would be worth five stars, but as it is I can only give it four because of the price. Having said that, if money is no object, or as a special treat, this rose body oil is well worth considering.

I got this for my wife and it looks, smells and feels premium, presented in a nice little brown glass bottle.The oil originates from Australia and has a subtle rose scent to it which we both like very much.However... It drips out very slowly, (which I guess is a good thing to avoid wastage, especially given the cost), but is also very annoying as it takes a lot of time to get a good amount of oil into the hand so that you have enough to apply.Of better news, after application, her skin feels smooth and it is a lovely oil. But for her that slow application is a source of major frustration and what would be a 4 star review for the actual oil, is knocked back to a 3 star because of it.

For me, body oils are very much hit and miss - cheap ones can leave you feeling oily for the whole day, and never really sink in properly.This is absolutely perfect - the scent is beautiful, a really natural rose scent that isn't overpowering, but lingers throughout the day. It absorbed very quickly when applied fresh out of the shower, and kept my skin feeling hydrated throughout the next few days, which was wonderful.The bottle is rather small, but a little does go a VERY long way, and using twice weekly, I can imagine this will last a good few months, so works out relatively economical too.10/10

This body oil smells nice and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It is not greasy, which is quite counter-intuitive, and it leaves the skin very soft and smooth and feeling very comfortable. My only minor niggle is that it takes quite a few shakes to get the oil out of the little dropper dispenser.

This is essentially a massage oil that is billed as a body oil from Jurlique, it does nourish and soothe the body well and the scent is pleasing too. However, the price knocked me for 6, at £41 for 100ml, this is some premium oil and despite it having a pleasing scent, it ultimately does what premium oil does except not at this price.Good product, not impressed with the price.
