Because there’s no Daiso or yen stores here it was really hard to find something basic like this after wanting to replace my scratched plastic one. This was shipped from Japan but the price was quite reasonable when I bought it and it arrived in a week packaged up really well.It looks tiny but holds the same as my plastic one. It dries faster and the rice doesn’t stick. It has a rounded edge which is comfortable. Otherwise it looks functional and long lasting and reminds me of my grandmothers scoop. Plastic one will be going to the charity shop.

Easily beats the plastic rubbish!!Thought this cup size might be a little smaller, but it's great as a Basmati/Jasmin/pulse & MISO measure! So far I bought FOUR at just over £6.00 each! Always Arrives well protected, ahead of estimate delivery date and well packaged!Bought at different times - it wont let you order more than one in case you get hammered for customs duties/other charges and fees!

Nothing special just a cup as expected. Peculiar thing - they always got 1 last one in stock. And when it’s bought there appears another ‘last one’.

I found this little measure useful as I often make Japanese rice and the 1/2 go mark is handy. It was expensive because it was posted from Japan but it's something you need only buy once, that's why I chose this stainless steel one.

The cup is sturdy but my previous cup was slightly bigger, it also was the Japanese cup for rice, so there is a little bit of a lip. Much better for measuring
