Supra CAT8 Audiohile Ethernet Cable 1 Mtr MCRU

I've no idea what the reviews with fewer that 5 stars were using their supra cat8 for. This is possibly the best audio grade Ethernet cable at this price but you do need to attach it direct to the router and to a high quality steamer or similar to get the benefit. Give it a try. I doubt you will send it back.

The Supra CAT8 is much thinner then the Supra CAT7. So I think it is less shielded. Did not like much the Supra CAT8 in my audio-system. Maybe tighter bass but the mid-range is thin and the high is leaning to harsh. The Supra CAT7 was better in the whole tonal. Wonder if the CAT8 was tested against the CAT7...I am a bit sad that I have spend money on the Supra CAT8...thought was trustful and an upgrade, however... It ended up in the closet... fact is, I am very disappointed.Bought another brand far cheaper and far better then this Supra CAT8!!

I was a bit naive with this product. The cable may well be CAT8, but as it has a RJ45 connection on, it is limited to CAT6!!! (All RJ45 equipment is limited to CAT6 due to the 'bottle neck' effect). Therefore, save yourself some money and get a CAT6 cable unless your product supports any CAT7 type connections (which is very unlikely).
