Burgon & Ball GKN Garden Kneelo Knee Pads, Poppy

I needed a pair of these as due to balance problems. If I fall over these will be good for the pain of standing up.

These had good reviews on a number of gardening equipment websites and the price from Amazon was very attractive. Different colours were differently priced, go for the cheapest priced colour. Fuctionally they are all the same and all very good at their job. They provide excellent padding and enable pain free kneeling for garden work. The velcro straps work well and stay fixed tight during use.

I've tried a lot of knee pads but I think these are about the best all-rounders for my gardening jobs? Not being funny, but you have to be able to bend down in knee pads, or else what's the point? These move with you so you don't have to keep fiddling with them. They're made of a strong fabric that seems to remain remarkable free of detritus, considering they are so soft to touch?The other important thing with knee pads is they shouldn't cut your skin behind your knees whilst kneeling for extensive periods. These don't, so that's a relief.

Much better made than some other brands I have tried. Very flexible and can be adjusted so the fit is just right. The top part allows the kneelers to be pulled up slightly while wearing if they have slipped down a bit. Velcro makes them quick to put on. Thick foam makes them soft and comfortable for gardening and household tasks that require a lot of kneeling. Far more convenient than carrying a kneeling mat around the garden. This was a repeat purchase as after a couple of years of daily use the Velcro on my old pair had lost its stick.

These arrived quickly and I really like them. They are very comfortable to wear, I leave mine on for hours sometimes. They do slip down occasionally but I can't really think of any design that would stay permanently put and still be comfy. I have labelled mine 'left' and 'right' as if you don't get them on the right legs the velcro can catch the other side. I am using mine indoors for laying laminate floors and decorating so I don't have a problem with them not being waterproof. Great product and good price!

These knee pads are GREAT! So comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them. The memory foam in them is really great and they have held up really well. I bought a pair for my mum for mothers day and she tells me all the time how much she loves them and how they have changed her gardening experience. They work really well for anything from DIY to keeling down for your lover.

Not using them for gardening, but protecting my knees form a large Surdo Samba Drum when walking with it. A lot of padding, however they are quite small, so tend to slip a lot.Also, if I were to use them for gardening, I wouldn't want to do so in wet conditions.Cover fabric is like a sponge.For my use, they just about do the necessary and that's the best I can say about them. OK, but no banana.
