Caron Simply Soft 3-Pack Yarn, 3oz, Gauge 4 Medium Worsted, 100% Acrylic - Iris - Machine Wash & Dry

I have used this yarn for many crocheted projects. It is very soft with a nice variety of colors. The only thing that bothers me somewhat is the splitting, but I’ve gotten used to that. It’s worth it to me. One of my favorite inexpensive yarns.

I'd never used this brand of yarn before. Red Heart is what is pretty much available to me. Some of it is scratchy, some soft. It does soften when you wash it, tho, so that helps but this is nice & soft already. I just started using it & it may be a little too soft for what I am doing. I am trying to do a filet of cats blanket where the cats are skipped stitches in the DCs forming an outline of them. They might show up better with a little bit stiffer yarn but if I can master it, it will be beautiful especially in this lovely color.

This yarn is so soft makes for a cozy hat. The twist on this yarn is not tight so you must be careful not to pull / snag the yarn of the other stitches. Having said that I had to pull out about 15 rows and re-crochet and it looks perfect. I like this yarn. I will use it again.

I am new to crochet and wanted to find a softer yarn than what I had been using. I have sensory issues with touch and HATE the feel of stuff yarn! This yarn sure surprised me when I felt how soft it is! Also, the color is GORGEOUS! I immediately decided to make a quick hair tie just so I could use it. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was a strong smell, it dissipated after a short time out of the bag. The only thing that I don't like (and this could be my fault since I'm still learning!) but the yarn kept separating a lot. I noticed it the most at the beginning. I did mess up and unraveled it a couple times. The part that was already loose got worse but luckily the rest didn't. It has a little bit of a learning curve to use because it's not as stiff as most so if my tension is too tight it's nearly impossible to pull through 2 loops. I will definitely be purchasing other colors as well!

Saw this brand as a recommendation on YouTube and gave it a try. I bought the lipstick speckle, it’s pretty. This yarn is incredibly soft and works very well with the sentro knitting machine. I ended up making a scarf. I recommend.

I love Caron yarn; it is so soft and makes up beautifully. It also has a slight sheen to it that I really like, and the colors and blends are great.

I use this yarn for crocheting blankets, loveys, and amigurumi all the time and love it. This was a great price for a 3pk.
