Grey Wool Knit Blanket, Super Soft, Decorative for Sofa & Travel, 51x63IN

I am very pleased with this throw blanket. It appears to be very well made and will be a nice and stylish addition to a sofa or just an extra layer of warmth. I like the black and grey color and the design, it has a sophisticated touch, and the edging is particularly well done.But be aware that some of the the descriptions in the listing can be a little confusing or even misleading. The title calls it a “wool knitted throw blanket…” This is NOT a wool product, it is made of acrylic, which in fairness is stated farther down. However it does feel like wool, so maybe that’s what they meant by “wool knitted.” It has that flat, close knit that a wool blanket does, though obviously not as warm. But it looks and feels like a quality product.Ok, so that’s not so bad, but then farther down in the description it says “Luxuriously fluffy and soft faux fur…” Sorry there is nothing “fluffy” about this blanket and there is no fur, real or faux. In fact its charm is in the flatness of it, how it mimics a wool blanket.I am not removing a star because of the poor descriptions in the listing because I am reviewing the blanket, not the listing. But I think people should be aware of what the product actually is.

I ordered the GHUQ sofa blanket to use when I sit up in bed to watch TV.WHAT I LIKEIt is a little light but I fold it in half and wear it around my shoulders in bed to watch TV. It works well for that.I like that it is not all polyester. There is 30% wool in it.WHAT I DON’T LIKELike I said it is a little light. Although I haven't used it sitting at my desk but it is probably good for that on a cold day.

I like this throw blanket, with some reservations. In other words, I think it is best used in a decorative manner or possibly as a place for your pet to lay upon, and cuddle, on the couch. Moreover, the blanket is very light weight, but it appears to be constructed in a sturdy manner, well made. I do not expect that this blanket would rip easily. Furthermore, due to the light weight of the blanket, I do not believe it could be utilized for any amount of great warmth, consequently do not purchase with any great expectation as a blanket to reduce the chill on a cool day. The current price point of $26 is a bit high in my opinion, however I do recommend purchase of the product in a decorative manner.

This blanket is very comfortable and just warm enough to be nice for snuggling on the sofa or for wrapping baby for a good nap. The one thing we don't like is the "decoration" "GH" printed all over it in a repeating pattern. It does not make any sense and does not look nice. Maybe they should consider a better graphic or some soothing pattern rather than this. One star deducted for this absurd "theme". Even so, we like the blanket very well and the quality seems nice. I might update this review later.

I don't know what the initials or branding is all over the blanket (I think it says HC?), but that totally doesn't matter because this is an excellent quality double sided and layered blank and white throw, and it gives me and my kids warmth amd security when we pile up on the couch for a movie. It's more of a formal blanket if that makes sense, just based on how well it's made and its overall look would be something you'd see in the living room of a staged house.
