Mule Bike Cargo Trailer with Quick Release

My third bike trailer - an original BOB, and a Burley Flatbed and now the Mule. The Mule is essentially a slightly shorter version of the Flatbed. The Mule comes with the 16+ tires that are an additional $180 for the Flatbed. I was leaning toward the Burley Coho, but it also needed the 16+ upgrade which pushed the price near $600, and there wasn't a simple mounting solution for the rear axle on my fat bike. The single wheel Coho tracks better on trails, but the dual wheels of the Mule are going to float a lot better over sand and loose rock with the same payload. What really clinched the decision for the Mule was the 40% holiday discount - $240 for a ready to go offroad trailer? Sold.Assembling the Mule is simple, and the construction quality rivals the Burley products. I hitched it to my fat bike with a representative 50 pound load and took it for a test ride shortly after receiving it. Tracks well, lacking any suspension it bounces a bit as expected, but it does well floating over loose sand & rock. Its only shortcoming is width - it won't fit through the same restrictions your bike will, limiting where you can take it. What the Mule does is serve as a hand pulled cart, which neither of my other two trailers can pull off.At the price I paid, the Mule is an absolute steal. At full price, it's got some stiff competition from the Burley Flatbed and some other lower priced dual wheeled trailers. For serious singletrack use, single wheel trailers are much more capable.

Easy to assemble. Easy to attached to bike. Works great for hauling all of our beach gear to the beach. Then no problem disconnecting and wheels glide across sand no problem. Would definitely recommend.

5 Stars are not enough! I thought I would like this trailer, but I love it. I connected it to my bike, and I use it for grocery shopping and for going to the lake with my inflatable boat. My picture just shows my inflatable, but I also get my ores, pump, life vest, fishing pole and tackle gear and a small cooler in this cart without any problems. The ride is so smooth I forget it is behind me, and I really like the all-terrain tires. In my opinion the best trailer on the market. Only improvement - fishing pole holders on the side but I can make my own.

The media could not be loaded. 20 miles off road. Lightweight and strong off road design. Combined with rugged liner and tires. I would buy it all day. I need the all weather cover next.

Highly recommend. The build quality is fantastic as Insaw one prior to purchasing and felt they hit it out of the park. This is by far one of the best bike trailers I have seen and I plan on taking pictures of it in use as soon as the weather improves. Highly recommend
