I was so surprised to get that huge box, I was thinking I was getting 24 small yeast packages for some reason. Never dawning on me they were 1 pound each. I've paid $40.00 for 6 small 2oz. packages on Amazon in the past. Looks like I have a ton of baking ahead of me.

I purchased from NY Bakers in San Diego per the questions and Answers in this listing. This was a rip off and took them 2 WEEKS just to ship my order with more excuses than a barrel of monkeys!! People were sick, Mechanical Issues, USPS and UPS delays. This was all just excuses as Stanley did not even bring my order to be shipped till 2 weeks after purchased. Then I asked what the difference was between his and the less expensive I have found more locally and he said, Well, that's a good deal, you should purchase from them. Shop around, and or buy the Case here but this warning is to NEVER use New York Bakery our of San Diego CA. The name and location should have told me they were a lie from the start.Fresh Yeast is a way superior product, but will never spend another penny with New York Bakery located in San Diego, CA!!
