What a clever and totally ingenious product, I love this!At first sight I thought 'this in no way is going to fit where I need to put it', it looked like it would be way to small, but it did fit and very perfectly too!In all the years I have been removing hair, using a cream hair remover, I have gone to great lengths to try to avoid getting the hair removing cream onto my most intimate areas and none of them have been completely successful, that is until this clever little gadget came along! The VA J-J visor/shield does the job absolutely perfectly. I have read other reviewers mention that the shield won't stay in place on its own and that you have to hold it in place with your hand, all I can say to this is I don't think they have positioned the shield correctly, it takes a little practice but if you ensure the back part of the shield goes, ever-so-slightly towards the back area of your body, just where your bum cheeks start, the shield will stay exactly where you place it, you can even stand up from a lying position and it won't move around or drop off.This is exactly what I needed for the purpose I ordered it for, I can apply the cream without worry, wait for it to work, then step into the shower to rinse off all without fears that the cream may have gone where I didn't need it to be! The current price of £9.99 might sound expensive for a small piece of plastic but the effort that must have gone into bringing this to market, in my view makes it worth every penny. I ordered this for my wife to aid with hair removal whilst protecting the intimate parts, especially while waxing or using a razor.On first glance you might think it's too narrow but it actually fits very well and providing you following the instructions, it should stay in place too while you get on with your ablutions. I don't know why another reviewer has complained about it being single use as this is definitely not true. It can easily be washed and reused again and again.This is a really innovative yet simple idea. It might seem a lot of money for a piece of plastic but you are paying for lots of design and development that has gone into making this product too.

Takes a bit of getting use to to get into a comfy position but then provides a modesty protection when getting intimate areas treated etc. Wash in warm soapy water (eg in shower) and air dry

This shield is supposed to be single use, so would be expensive at £10, but for a person using it multiple times if well cleaned, I can see that it would be worth the money. For me, I struggled to get this to fit, I thought it may come in handy as my husband does my bikini line for me and I worry about his accuracy with the hot wax (yes, it is very brave of me to let him "down there" with the wax!)For me, it just didn't want to stay in place, following the instructions it was a little too large and didn't fit me well.

This Va J-J intimate area shield is great quality and easy to use. It works well and stays in place well too. For personal use they can be washed and reused. They are also disposable if given to a client. I use it at home for intimate laser hair removal. Overall it fits well and I'm very pleased with it.

She'd never heard of things like this, but my other half thought it would be useful for preventing stray cuttings getting where they shouldn't when doing the bikini line.Out of the packet the size looked a bit big and the plastic seemed a bit hard, but I am told that when the instructions are followed it actually fits in place very well and shoudl do the job it's supposed to covering everything that you want protected.As for protecting your modesty in a salon etc... well it doesn't leave much to the imagination so I guess that depends on how modest your modesty is!The shield is sold as disposable, but the listing notes that if it is for individual use (as opposed to being prvided in a salon where each one shoudl be discarded after use) then it can be washed thoroughly and re-used.

Here is my honest and unbiased review.Not since the she wee have I had to think about the effectiveness of a 'down there' product.Smaller than I thought, or over estimated, yet fits well, and while not uncomfortable, it prefer life without it. Saying that though, it is really very effective at protecting some of the more delicate areas down there while waxing, shaving, or similar.I am glad I have this and will use it.An amazing product that i never even thought i could need, but now it is a vital part of 'the regime'!!!4 stars!
