I had a chair we used as potty chair, shower chair etc for my 90 yo Dad-double broken hip x2. It was big and typical potty chair. It had a slick surface both the lid and seat and I did not feel he was comfortable nor safe using it in the shower. We sufficed until I decided to get him a better chair for the shower. I do NOT regret purchasing this chair and wished I had gotten it initially! It has drainage holes and a valley to help him easily reach his bottom for cleaning. It feels safe for him to maneuver in the shower and its slimmer but seems to be larger than the chair we purchased from rehab. We have a half walk in shower/glass enclosed and this fits perfectly through the opening and inside the shower. It looks better too! It has a back and arms for safety and getting up. Shower time is stressful as we have to be very careful but this helps ease my mind that he’s a bit safer using this chair. He won’t slip or fall from using it as the seat, arms and back have texture. It’s much more comfortable for him sitting on during shower time. He can easily clean parts of his body that normally he’d be sitting on. It is easy to clean and keep clean. Assembly instructions are thorough and the chair took very little time to put together-less than 30 minutes. Would absolutely recommend this chair!

Very sturdy and comfortable shower chair. Excellent product and an affordable price. It has great slip resistance and easily fits inside the tub. The extra height adjusting buttons are very easy to work, as well.

The shower chair was easy to assemble and I had no trouble as I followed the very clear instructions with photos of each step. The only tool needed is a screwdriver which is included. It was ready to use in less than ten minutes after I opened the box.The chair is very sturdy. It doesn't wobble at all. The back makes it very comfortable to use and makes using it seem safer because the patient won't tip backwards off the chair. If the back isn't wanted it comes right off by pushing in the pop-up buttons that hold it in place and pulling it off.The two arm rests have foam at the top that help to cushion them and also give a better, more secure grip when sitting or getting up. They also can be removed by just pushing in the pop-up buttons. The seat is slightly contoured where the legs rest and that makes it much more comfortable. The seat is a textured plastic that isn't slippery but is still easy to clean.The legs adjust up or down by the same pop-up button system so I was able to customize it to exactly the right height for the user. After it was no longer needed I discovered that the legs were holding some water inside so I had to pop off the bottom pieces of the legs and let it drain for a day before storing it away.I highly recommend this chair for use in a larger shower but think it might be too big to use in a standard bathtub because the legs widen as they get farther from the seat. That widening makes it more sturdy but also give it a larger footprint.

Nice sturdy shower chair, easy to assemble and stays put. Height adjustment is nice I wish it’d still go taller because my family is 6’3 and taller. Good quality great value

Very pleased with seat. Easy to put together, sturdy, adjustable height. Husband needed a bath seat after hip surgery. Ordered this because I was hoping it could serve double duty as a regular chair because the recliner he was using was too hard to get in and out of. My only concern was only whether this one would be too low to the ground. It was not too low and has made his recovery much easier.

I didn't need this for the seat but as something I could grab onto whenever my balance was unsteady or I was not comfortable moving in and out from the water spray.The item was well packaged and all of the required pieces and hardware were in place. These was an easy-to-follow assembly instruction sheet with written instructions and pictures to accommodate the written instructions. The hardest part of the assembly was tightening the screws, but that's mostly due to the fact that I don't have a lot of arm strength. And honestly, knowing how tight they were as I assembled each piece gave me a sense of stability of the product.I have only one "negative" about this product, and it has nothing to do with the actual product or its vendor. I live in a building that is over 200 years old, and it's pretty obvious to me that the tub and shower combo was installed at least 40, if not more, years ago. As such, my tub itself is not quite wide enough to allow the chair's feet to sit firmly on the tub floor. I wouldn't feel comfortable testing the seat out because of that fact.However, I was looking for something other than those suction handrails to grab ahold to when my balance was shaky, and this item works for that. Again, it is made with quality products and pieces, and has helpful installation instructions included.I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone, though you might want to check out its measurements compared to your tub's with if you plan to use it as a seat.
