Worth the Hype
The Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser promises a dentist-fresh clean at home and on the go, and after several weeks of daily use—including one unfortunate splash incident that left me soaking before breakfast—I’m ready to weigh in. With its bold claims of removing up to 99.9% of plaque and being up to 50% more effective than string floss, expectations are understandably high. So, does it actually deliver? In short: mostly yes, with a few charming quirks.Let’s start with the basics. This device has a surprisingly premium build—it’s got that soft, grippy matte finish that feels more like a high-end tech gadget than a bathroom tool. The magnetic USB charger is borderline luxurious, making the usual plug-wrestling drama a thing of the past. After a full charge (about four hours), I’m getting between 8–10 days of twice-daily use. Not bad for something that blasts your mouth like a power washer.Speaking of power washers, the three pressure settings are well-calibrated. Low feels like a friendly garden sprinkler. Medium is just right for daily use. High, though? High is what I imagine a fire hydrant would feel like if it cared about your gum health. It’s great for stubborn bits of food that think they’ve found a forever home between your molars. This flosser is especially handy if you’ve got braces, implants, or anything your dentist charged you extra for. It dances through gaps where floss can’t go. After about two weeks, I noticed my gums felt firmer and less inflamed—even my hygienist was impressed, which doesn’t happen often.Travel-wise, this is the flosser equivalent of a posh campervan: not the smallest, but packed with features. The travel case is handy, and I’ve taken it on hotel stays and overnights without issue. That said, if you’re a carry-on-only minimalist, it does take up space—especially if you like to bring the extra tips. Now, the mess. Oh, the glorious chaos. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up watering your bathroom tiles more than your teeth. My advice? Use it in the shower or lean forward like you’re telling your sink a secret. Otherwise, you’ll be mopping up toothpastey water while your pet watches in quiet judgement. One time, I used it while half-asleep and missed my mouth entirely. I sprayed the mirror, the wall, and my own ear. Lesson learned: this isn’t a tool for groggy mornings unless you want to wake up very fast.Another tip—don’t forget to empty the reservoir. If you leave water sitting in there for hours, it occasionally leaks. Not a dealbreaker, just something to remember if you don’t want to discover a suspicious puddle the next day.Durability-wise, it’s too soon to tell, but some long-time users report breakdowns after two years. The good news? Waterpik’s customer service has a solid rep, and they’ve replaced faulty units under warranty without fuss.Pros:The Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser offers clinically proven results, effectively removing plaque and improving gum health. Its cordless and portable design makes it ideal for home and travel use. The three pressure settings are genuinely useful, allowing users to tailor the experience based on sensitivity or need. It performs exceptionally well around braces, crowns, and bridges—areas where traditional floss can struggle. Battery life is excellent, often lasting 8–10 days on a single charge, and it recharges quickly via a magnetic USB cable. Once familiar with the technique, many users find it surprisingly fun to use and more satisfying than traditional flossing.Cons:However, it’s on the pricier side compared to other water flossers. If you leave water sitting in the tank, it can occasionally leak, which may be inconvenient. There's also a bit of a learning curve to avoid making a mess—improper angle or pressure can result in water spray across the bathroom. Lastly, while it’s portable, the unit is slightly bulky for minimalist travel setups and may take up more space than expected in smaller toiletry bags.If you're looking for a reliable, surprisingly entertaining, and highly effective water flosser that adds a little theatre to your oral hygiene routine, the WP-580UK is well worth considering. It’s like having a dental hygienist in your travel bag—just one with a strong personality and a splash zone.

Great product...
This is my first waterpik has I've had full mouth implants and have to have this for the cleaning while they are settling in and the gum shrinking back And I'm delighted with the results you get from the Advanced Waterpik... And I'd buy again and recommend this product especially for dental implants...

Happy smiling. Really like using this
Like many, I know flossing is important, but sometimes... well, life happens! So the idea of a water flosser was appealing.First impressions? It's nicely designed and feels good to hold. Getting started was simple, fill it with water and you're ready to go. And honestly, after using it for a while, my teeth do feel noticeably cleaner. It's become a part of my daily routine now, and having that extra level of clean after brushing is a pretty satisfying feeling. The Waterpik definitely uses water! Yes, it does go through it, but it's doing its job of flushing out all the bits and pieces. As this is my first water flosser, I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems to use a reasonable amount for a good clean. I haven't experienced any leaking at all, and the design feels solid.Someone mentioned portability... it's cordless, which is great, but it's not super small. It's easy to move around the bathroom with, and you could pack it for travel if you wanted to, but it's not tiny. The water tank is a decent size for a daily clean, but for a really long session, you might need to refill. For everyday use, it's perfectly adequate though. The Bottom Line?If you're looking for an easier way to get that really clean feeling in your mouth, the Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser is worth considering. It's simple to use, effective at cleaning and has become a welcome addition to my daily routine. It's a straightforward and effective way to enhance your dental hygiene. If you're curious about water flossing, this is a solid option to try. Happy smiling!

New design with better qualities
Have been using Waterpiks for at least 15 years. Regularly buy a new one when having implant surgery. This latest model is even more expensive but the charging cable is a new design and better than before; and the motor now has a choice of three speeds. Looking forward to using it tonight when charged. There is also a neat, useful box for the heads and a travel bag. 10/10

Understand why they are No 1
First use tonight. Easy to use. However, forgot to put into mouth when pressed on button and now looks like I've pee'd on the bathroom ceiling.Extracted food with ease and mouth feels cleaner.Highly recommended.
