Great book, for beginners to experienced players!

I’ve played bass for a while and can do both finger style and pick, but not slap ... don’t even know where to start.This book won’t show you that! It assumes you know correct hand position, correct way to strike and how to pop. It won’t tell you a single thing and most of the visuals (of the few there are) show the same two images of a hand thumb up and thumb touching the E string.The exercises themselves I think are good ... they’re presented in a linear manner progressing in difficulty which to someone who’s got the basics I guess would be pretty good so I’ve given it 3 stars as I guess you might get something out of it but I can’t say as I don’t know.The contents also don’t justify the contents. At 50 pages of notation it’s a little overpriced.
