These sandals are incredibly comfortable! For true to size and have fantastic arch support.

Complicated
I bought these sandals not knowing that they were gonna be so difficult to get on. You gotta pull this way and that way to losen and then pull this way that way to tighten. They are a very nice sandal only for the exception of getting to fit. Glad it had a direction card.

very comfortable, UK and European size accurate
This was well worth the shipping charge to the UK, where Chacos don't have a presence yet. Although I have Birkenstock and Mephisto sandals for arch support (I am flat footed), they don't cope well with rain - a feature of the British summer.The Chacos have not disappointed, I've had them for two weeks now. I've worn them with and without socks (just got warm enough for sandals here). Without arch support, I usually get ankle pain and wear custom made orthotics in my regular shoes. I can wear these comfortably, stand and walk in them for hours. And they look great.I agree with most people that the US size runs large. But I found the UK and EU sizes to be accurate. I am usually a US 6/UK 3/EU 36. But the Chaco size is US 5/UK 3/EU 36.5. If you go to the Chaco website (chacousa.com), they even give you the foot length equivalent of their sizes in centimeters (yes, I measured my foot with a ruler) and you can download a size chart. The size chart also tells you if you should get a regular or wide sandal.Another advice is to tighten the straps when you are standing up and putting weight on the sandal (and getting your foot and arch in the right position). I found that I get the correct tightness this way - when I adjust the straps while sitting down, they end up too loose when I walk.Amazon shipping to the UK (via UPS) was two business days. And they had the cheapest shipping rate compared to the other Marketplace merchants. All in all, an excellent buy.

Chaco's & Amazon - Wow - awesome duo
2nd year of training for the Breast Cancer 3-Day - 2nd year of feet issues. 1st year of RESOLUTIONS - all because of Chaco's Sandals. This is my 4th pair this year - all different colors - some larger some shorter this pair "wide" - but ALL far better for my feet than any athletic shoe, sports shoe, running shoe, walking shoe I've tried in my life. Spent HUNDREDS of dollars in shoes last year (6 pairs) trying to find something that would work with my high insteps, high left arch, .collapsing right arch and neuropathy... numb toes - until they "awaken" and feel like they need to be surgically removed to alleviate the pain...(yes, I'm whining)The Chaco's Z/1 UWP Sandals have changed my life - forever. Not only in my hundreds of miles in training for the 60 miles in 3 days - these sandals have improved my posture & in doing to have alleviated all lower back pain - and can walk the 18 / 15 mile back to backs with no foot pain ...just tired butt muscles... but my feet are so very happy...Can you tell I'm extremely pleased?Amazon, has provided a constant resource for dependable online purchasing. Delivery has been impeccable.I can't rave enough about the professional service and love the vast offerings...Very cool.Thanks!

Wonderful sandals. Be careful of size!
I am very happy with the quality and comfort of these sandals. The straps are adjustable to my thin feet, and the sole is molded to fit a high arch. They look less bulky than other brands of comparable price/quality. The only complaint is that they are not true to size. I tried them at a local store before I ordered and found that the 9 fit best (I normally wear a 10).
