Nice Battery Pack in a Very Nice Holder!
I do a whole lot of night riding in the woods near my house and so need a decent light with a battery pack that can go the distance. This pack works well. I have many lights that use a battery pack like this. I depend on them for riding a mountain bike in the dark of night, and also use them on my boats at night as some of them also have head straps. This pack comes with a charger and a really nice case enclosing the 6 cells making up the battery. I fully charged the battery pack and connected a bike light to it. My bike lights are all very bright. When on the street my bike is frequently mistaken for a motorcycle due to the bright headlight. I know this because I've had kids yell/comment on it.At any rate I put my bike light on medium and had it on for 2 hours straight. The battery pack had plenty of charge left and more importantly didn't even get warm. That's a good sign that the cells used to make up the battery are rated for higher current than the usual packs. The pack also stayed cool while charging, which is an even better sign. So the charging and discharging of the battery went well. The case for the battery pack is a pretty high quality neoprene case with "Velcro" closures. The design of the case is such that you can wrap it around a bike frame, or belt in the case of a headlamp, and secure it The charger is a standard Lithium Ion charger that will show red when charging and green when fully charged. For the money I think it's worth it. I've paid for more for a lot less. This is a quality product and I recommend it.

Great backup battery for my bicycle light.
I bought a Bright Eyes 1600 Lumen Rechargeable Mountain, Road Bike Headlight, with 6400mAh Battery, but I needed another backup to throw in my bike bag for emergencies. This is just like the OEM battery in every way and will run my light for 5+ hours just like the original. Not much else to say, but the velcro is very strong at the attachment point, it fits around my top tube and hasn't come loose once. It's also a lot cheaper than a replacement from Bright eyes, which I appreciate. I'm positive its 6400 mah because it powers my light on high for hours. |I leave it to charge overnight and it has a bright led on the charger which goes from red to green. Would recommend,.

What a great find to replace my 4 battery pack that was starting to diminish the use time
If you have a light for your bike or for hiking that using this type of battery back you might want to consider replacing your older pack. I have had my older battery pack with 4 batteries for about 7 years. It was starting to get battery fatigue and won’t last for more than about 2 hours. With this pack, which is designed to be only slightly larger than my old pack and has a much more secure method for attaching it to my bike, the battery lasts very strong for my longer 3 - 4 hour rides. I prefer to use my light in both day and night. I originally used the light for hiking and I have a headband for the light. While I haven’t yet used it for that purpose, I can tell you that it will light up your path like the noonday sun if you are hiking at night or even at a campsite where you have to go to the bathroom or walk dark paths to collect wood.

Long lasting, easier to mount replacement battery pack for your headlight
This is a replacement battery pack for multiple types of bike headlights (the brand I currently have is Night Eyes but there are a lot of similar ones, and as long as your light is 7.6v-8.4v and uses the same type of connector it should work.) The standard battery pack for these lights is a smaller 4-cell one with a flimsier attachment strap. I commute on a bike path that has no lights at all, so a bright headlight is essential, especially in the winter when both the morning and evening commutes are in the dark. The standard 4 cell battery pack does not last me a full week of winter commuting. It will be a huge improvement to have a longer lasting pack so I only have to worry about charging it on the weekend and not have to carry extra battery packs for those unexpected battery failures mid-ride. This pack also has a much better mounting system than the standard pack -- a wide, robust, integrated velcro strap that is very secure. You could strap it pretty much anywhere, but I have it on the stem.

No idea on what it’s for
I ordered this thinking it would be a battery on my bike to power the various accessories I have that use power. Other than the charging port there are no connectors to attach anything no usb. No nothing. The web site had mostly merchandise labeled unavailable. I’m going to return it as I already have a few paperweights .

Rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries of unknown origin with no safety certifications visible
We all read way too much about Li-ion battery fires, it's real and a big deal. This product consists of 4 batteries enclosed in shrink-plastic with the wired plug protruding plus a charger. The charger has no safety ratings regarding overcharge/overheat, ETL, CE, or UL ratings (note: the CE you see on the charger is NOT the EU certification mark, but a mark indicating Chinese Export ONLY, don't be fooled!). The batteries themselves being wrapped, I can't check them without destroying the product. I haven't, but I just might (in which case I'll update this).Given the above, I would not charge these inside your home. I would do it outside, protected from rain, or in a garage or shed. ALSO, don't be taken in by the IPX4 rating, which does NOT mean this is waterproof or dustproof. IPX4 means it will resist a splash from any angle. So, hit this with a water hose or submerge it and it is likely done. Let the neoprene case get soaked? Maybe then too, or maybe that's just a fire risk is all.
