Yes, the planter is large enough to fit orchids.

Our planters are made of ceramic. Ceramic contains some traces of lead and may lead to lead poisoning if consumed in large quantities. We suggest keeping the planters out of reach of pets.

Q: Is this planter suitable for juniper bonsai trees? (Is it sealed on the inside so it doesn't hold moister and rot the roots)?

I have a Fukien Tea bonsai in my pot and it is doing well so far. It seems to retain moisture from an immersed watering (15-20 minutes immersed) for about 5 days, but I do think it is sealed. Hope that helps.
