I am also 5'3 and usually wear 12/14 in USA. I went with a XL in these and got some in 28" inseam and some in 30". I like the 28" inseam better, but my legs are short so shorter inseam.

Q: Says 'high waisted', shows below belly button-would be mid/low rise. plus size typically for large women? don't want tummy control. clarify please.
