Carlson Labs Gamma E-Gems, Gamma Tocopherol, 465 mg, 120 Softgels

I have looked at and tried other Gamma E formulas and the mgs. are always smaller. The only way to get a mg. the same or greater than that of Carlson's without taking two would be a professional brand that would have to come from a practitioner's office. I've always liked Carlson for their quality and purity. It was not available for awhile, I hope it stays in stock now.

One of the last companies making the all-important Gamma-fraction of Vit. E, which SHOULD be what everyone should be taking and NOT Alpha-Tocopherol, which virtually NO-ONE is deficient in, according to the thousands of patients' blood levels of Vitamin E that I have had measured in the past 3 decades.

Too many side effects. Not worth taking!

I learned in my Metabolism class that you get plenty of gamma tocopherol from your diet (animal fats & plant oils) and just for the record... most of it is excreted in bile. Do your research before using supplements. Surely your vit D status needs more attention than this.

Has all the Ingredients I was looking for, no fishy after taste, no problems taking it on an empty stomach if need be, and hoping it will lower by cholesterol level at next testing. Packaged well and came in good time.

Carlson is the only supplier (that I have located) that provides exact breakdown of all components for the product. Necessary, if one is attempting to correctly balance intakes of specific components.
