Beautiful fountain pen
I am an avid fountain pen collector and have amassed a rather large amount of them ranging from cheapies to quite expensive ones. I have the same issue with all of them in that I can't use them enough to stop the ink from drying out, or evaporating completely!BUT... This is my second Kaweco sport classic fountain pen and it is just a faultless as the first. They write smooth and fabulously well, even after sitting in my bag for nearly a month there was no issue with flow, no drying out, they are perfect writers every time.I've just bought a third as I like to have different colour inks in each and I am more than extremely happy with them!

Very useful and practical pocket fountain pen
Very useful and practical pocket fountain pen. The construction is robust, though it is made from tough plastic and not metal. A seperate clip is available to buy. Great design by German company Kaweco. The pen, when posted, becomes a proper sized pen and easy to use. The nib is very smooth and a joy to write with. Uses international ink cartridges, so easy to buy and a great colour range to choose from. This pen is quite cheap, but it writes very well and is better than many pens costing a lot more. I also have it's sibling the Kaweco Liliput, which is aluminium, cute and tiny and perfect for my filofax pen loop. (This pen is just a bit too wide to fit the loop, hence why I got the Liliput afterwards.) Kaweco is a brand that is less well known, but they make quality products.

Smooth writer
Smooth line, & compact but look out for the spare ink cartridge pushed into the bottom of the pen case. It’s a nightmare to get out. I have bought two of these pens & both had an ink cartridge stuck in the case. I used tweezers to get them out so they were both punctured and were of no use, so what’s the point 😤But must say apart from that they are very nice pens.

Great pen.
I love the way this pen writes. It really is smooth and for the price is excellent value. The body is plastic, what you’d expect for the price. The lid does squeak when I unscrew it but I can deal with that. The only reason it’s marked down one star is that there was little protective packaging which was a surprise.

Small light-weight pen - fits into any pocket
I bought this a number of years ago now and it arrived on time and was what I expected. If you're looking for a pen which is small and can fit into any pocket, so light-weight that you forget its in your pocket, and that's what matters most to you then this is a good pen for you. An everyday pen for on the go that you wouldn't mind loosing.I doubt that these are your primary concerns when buying a pen though... and at over £20 in a cost of living crisis you probably would be a bit upset at loosing this pen. It's price point is a little high for the quality of the pen.The shell is plastic making it very light weight, mine is also little scratchy to use, and both of these factors mean I don't really use this pen anymore. I prefer bold nibs which have a bit of weight to them (entirely my fault in this case because I knew this wasn't what I was buying). For the price point, I would just buy a Lamy which is a brand just as trusted as Kaweco has a greater choice of nibs, feels sturdier, slightly bigger, plastic body but with a frame which feels more solid.
