Great book to use for grades 5-8. It reinforces the spelling and definition of the words. Great tool.

I like the book, but I ordered grades 6-8 by mistake. I needed 5th grade.

I'm between a 3 and a 4 here. It's hard to write a vocabulary book, because the author basically has a list of words and has the unenviable task of creating stories around them AND of providing short definitions that kid can understand. Sometimes the context feels artificial and contrived. Still, this is a very good book for the home-school. It's easy to use, the readings are short, it is multi-level, and there are only six vocabulary words per lesson.
