bought for my daughter for Christmas and was a great hit with her...looks great on and has been in a few photo shoots recently too, plenty long enough for tall people and very roomy for any one on the lager side too (equally looks good on a shorter skinny person like my teenage daughter) well worth the money and i will buy more in the future

Nice quality but very small in size. I'm 5ft2, it's a nice length but would have like more material so it would cover front. More for older child than adult

This cape is great for the price.Yes it is see through when you hold it up but it is a fancy dress cape, not an opera cape. As expected. Over your dress/costume it will look just fine.The material looks lovely, it is lightweight and easy to move around in. The hood is not too small as some can be and it is a great length.I'm 5"10 and it comes to a little above my ankles.

It was not my first choice as wanted more deluxe cape however based on delivery timescale I ordered this item. It arrived earlier than expected and was pleasantly surprised by the quality! I've seen similar ones that have been very thin but this was thicker than most! Completed my Victorian vampire outfit and had lots of lovely remarks. Plus side it also kept me nice and warm!

Too expensive for this quality, hood to small.

Quite a good cloak but strings to fasten round neck were too short. One side was only 1ins and other about 3 ins.

I required a hooded black velvet cape for a character I played in Death by Chocolate Murder Mystery game. This cape fitted the bill at a reasonable price. The only thing I personally would have liked is holes in which to put your arms through as it would have been easier to handle. I would definitely recommend this cape as I feel it is of a good quality and standard especially for the reasons I bought it.
