Finicky system and SLOW but still a good value!
Overview:Depending on what you're looking for from a built-in navigation system, this is a good buy. The bigger screen (in comparison to my phone) itself makes this a good value. There are lots of functions but the built in navigation system and apps are slow and lag in response. Android auto seems to work great though (best when connected by cable rather than Bluetooth). Bluetooth is okay, sometimes spotty. Installation was pretty easy despite the product not coming with proper instructions (I watched videos). Navigating the system is a process of trial and error because there is no manual.Read on for details:Pro:The screen is big and bright! Especially when you compare it to your phone. Makes navigation a breeze! There are lots of functions: YouTube, video player capabilities (to connect a car DVD player), music player, navigation system, android auto, chrome, and much more. The device connects easily to the internet through hotspot/tethering or your home WIFI if possible ( for downloading maps, updates, YouTube etc.). It connects to my phone pretty easily by Bluetooth or wire. It was surprisingly easy to install despite the fact that it doesn't really come with helpful instructions. Android auto works nicely as well, it pulls everything necessary onto one screen: navigation, music and weather. The hands free text feature seems to work well too!Cons:The most obvious and annoying issue with this system is its speed. It is slow. I even tried to download maps (which worked after I connected to my hotspot) thinking that if I download the maps it wont take forever to load the app. Nope. Still took forever. It's even slow at responding to what I’m clicking on. When I tap on something it takes so long to respond that I can't tell the difference between it thinking and me having accidentally not tapped it.The Bluetooth is decent for the most part. It usually works fine but occasionally the phone calls are choppy and the music playing from my phone gets messed up. This system came without an installation or instructions manual. There was an installation diagram but nothing else. And there's an app in the system that states manuals but there's nothing in there that tells me how the system is organized or how to use it. Finally, I took the time to install the backup camera and found out it is not working. I can't even find the app for it.

Radio faulty, not working!
I reviewed all the 4-5 stars on the radio so I purchased it for my 2012 Nissan Altima and when it was hooked up the system won’t even power on. I then went to get it checked to make sure at the stereo place & they even said it’s faulty and not working. I wish it did but unfortunately I’m returning. Maybe I ended up with a bad one out of the bunch but not sure.

Not really
Alright, let's dive into this review for the 5G WiFi 2G+32G Car Radio Stereo for Nissan Altima Radio 2008-2012. Now, I'm all about keeping it real, so here are my thoughts after giving this unit a whirl:First off, let's talk about the pros. The Android 11 operating system is a nice touch, offering smooth performance and a modern interface. The 9" IPS touchscreen is also a standout feature, providing crisp visuals and responsive touch controls. I also appreciated the inclusion of Bluetooth and GPS functionality, making it easy to connect my devices and navigate on the go. And hey, who doesn't love the convenience of wireless CarPlay and Android Auto? It's a game-changer for sure. However, there were a few drawbacks that prevented me from giving this unit a higher rating. For starters, the installation process was a bit of a headache. While the unit is advertised as being compatible with Nissan Altima 2008-2012 models, I found that it required some extra effort to fit properly. Additionally, the user manual could use some improvement. It was a bit vague and didn't provide clear instructions for certain features.Another issue I encountered was with the sound quality. While the unit does have DSP (Digital Signal Processing) functionality, I found that the audio output was somewhat lacking. The sound was a bit tinny and lacked depth, especially at higher volumes. This was a bit disappointing considering the potential of the unit's features.Lastly, I noticed that the unit occasionally experienced connectivity issues with the 5G WiFi. There were times when the connection would drop unexpectedly or become sluggish, which was frustrating when trying to stream music or use online navigation services.Overall, while the 5G WiFi 2G+32G Car Radio Stereo for Nissan Altima Radio 2008-2012 has some great features and potential, it falls short in certain areas such as installation difficulty, sound quality, and WiFi connectivity. It's a decent option if you're looking for an upgrade to your car stereo system, but just be prepared to encounter a few bumps along the way.

Very happy with my purchase
I recently bought an older Nissan Altima and the radio was not good. Purchased this radio and selected next day shipping. My husband said this was one of the easiest installs he’s done. I was under the impression the radio comes with a mic. It does not but the seller was quick to respond and help me solve my issue. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Android touch head unit
This was a simple install. Installed in my Nissan Altima. Plugged into the existing stereo plugs. It will connect wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and android auto. Although it works better on CarPlay. If you connect to the WiFi you are able to download apps from the google play store. Sound quality is not the best. But I think it is because it is to much for the old factory speaker in my car. I will let you know when I replace them.
