I bought this goal for my son who is 10 and plays in these size goals now for his football team. At first I was a bit dubious of the product after reading some reviews of how it was constructed but I have to say it has really surprised me. It goes up really quick (first time takes a bit longer to get to know it) and then comes down even quicker. Our garden is not big enough for this size goal to be up all year round so this added convenience of putting up when and where we need it (ie in the field behind our house) is no problem whatsoever. The goal itself as per the description does not have a solid cross bar or posts (these are fabric) but then you do not play football to hit the cross bar or posts. The tension of the product means that it is constantly in the correct shape of a goal to aim at and if it does sometimes go out of position you just move the tension rod on each side. My son loves this goal and has been constantly putting it up (with my help). Give it one more year then I expect he will be able to put it up by himself. This goal will enable us to put in the car if we go out for the day or go camping. Hopefully it will last many years to come as one of the upsides to it is that because you pack it away it is not open to the elements so technically should last longer if taken care of. I would recommend this product for football team training, adult kick arounds, children from 9 upwards if they play 9 v 9.

We bought this goal in June 2020, and it's a size of 12' x 6'. We've been using it for almost 2 years now, and the feedback is positive. It's easy to set up for adults, though younger children (up to 12 years) might need some support.The goal weight is around 9 kg, which isn't a big problem for adults but may be a challenge for teenagers if the carrying distance is more than a couple of hundred meters. The net quality is great, and the metal beams are reliable. The only small issue pertains to the metal anchors that need to be inserted into the ground to fix the goal and protect it from tipping over.After several strong shots, the pegs come out of the ground and sometimes completely fall out. Therefore, they have to be corrected periodically.

I spent a long time researching to find a goal that could stay standing without pegs - sometimes my son plays on the grass, sometimes on the driveway. This does come with grass pegs if required.I did purchase separate weights to go with this, but we actually don’t use them much. My 10 year old and his friends have been blasting footballs into this for about 3 weeks - no tears/damage and it has fallen over a couple of times, nothing major (it is so light that it doesn’t cause damage and it wouldn’t injure anyone).It comes apart to store in the bag provided - we keep it build in the garage - the instructions do say it will rust if left in the rain, so do store it somehow.Instructions were straightforward.My reason for 4 stars is the black paint on the bars scrapes off really easily - and it is so sharp when this happens, it’s like nettle stings if you try to pick up the goal and touch a grazed part. I’m planning to just wrap it in electrical tape if it becomes a problem (we know to have a quick check now).

Pretty easy to assemble / disassemble. Had funny goals which knocked the goal right over. 🤣 But of course I missed that there were 4 securing pegs to hold the goal down on the grass. Put these in place. Brilliant! Blasting the ball into the back of the net and that goal stayed put. Kids absolutely love it. 😃

Great Product! My son had a fixed goal in the garden and the net was picked apart by birds within a few days, which meant that he couldn't use it as he intended.With this pop-up goal, it goes up in less than 5 mins and when he's finished playing we simply pack it away in the carry case it comes with. It's perfect for what we use it for and is very sturdy. Very Happy with it.
