Ruthless King: A Dark Mafia Romance (Kings of Temptation) Paperback – August 4, 2023

Just discovered this author & love her style of storytelling! This was a great book all around, strong male & female lead, great action, great romance! I re-read the book a few times & look forward to reading more books from this author!

Not really used to first person narration but it was interesting. Fun story, great characters and a happy ending. Four out of five.

Ruthless King was well written, fast paced, and tons of action. The story was very engaging and easily held my attention. I love it when they've known each other as kids and managed to find their way back to each other. Looking forward to reading more in this series!

I really Wanted to give this book at least 4 stars, however has the book dragged on I found myself liking it less and less. Sienna is a new author for me and to my understanding Based off of other reviews, she is an upcoming author especially in the mafia world, which is why I will continue to read this series and maybe other books by her. Let's get to the actual review shall we... I absolutely loved Stella. She was everything I want in an fmc . She was strong, independent and headstrong. However it doesn't make sense to me how if she was such good friends with her brothers best friend growing up how she never remembered him. I get the explanation of blocking traumatic instances but it just didn't make much sense. He wasn't traumatic for her as a child. How can you say you've loved someone since you were 10 but you haven't thought about them in over a decade? They doesn't really have anything to do with her characters personality but still. I did not love Luca. He was a bit to straight edged for me. Again I understand this is the authors first mafia romance but I'm used to mmc's being a little harder, more fierce and somewhat more possessive and unfortunately Luca just didn't fit the bill for me. I felt like the author was trying to make him a good person but almost too good of a person to where it canceled out the fact he is supposed to be a mafia boss. That's another thing, we learn how he became C.E.O but never really how he became the mafia boss. With a book that is based around everything that's happened in the past I felt like the past was rushed and never really explained as well as it should have been. Miscommunication tropes are only good when done right and this one just felt forced. For a secret so big that the entirety of the book it was mentioned it was very anticlimactic when it was revealed. The sex scenes were decent. A little corny on the dirty talk from Lucas side in my opinion. The best friend rose is your typical opposite of the fmc who is chaotic and honestly should've been mentioned more in the book if you want to capture readers for her book coming up. How do you go a month without talking to your best friend, then you see her at a party and " oh my God I haven't talked to you " ? Again storylines just felt rushed . Overall decent read. I feel this could be a light introduction to mafia romance if you've never read them before.

Absolutely loved this book. I devoured it from the minute I picked it up. The characters are phenomenal and hot together. The story is intense and keeps you guessing on what's going to happen. The author did a fantastic job keeping the story intriguing and suspenseful as well as spicy. Highly recommend this series!! Can't wait to jump into the next book in the series!!

The story was ok. I just felt like the story was long and drawn out and it took to long for the secret to be revealed.

✔️ dark and growly MMC with all the “rules”✔️breaking his “rules for her”✔️ childhood crush✔️ a little of brothers best friend✔️feisty and strong willed FMC✔️touch her and ☠️✔️ mafia/mob with all of the things that come with that✔️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️I absolutely couldn’t put this book down! The spice was spicing, the plot was excellent for the characters! Character development was *chef’s kiss* so good! Can’t wait to read the next one in the series! Dante has been set up for an even better story!

This is my second dark romance mafia read, and it is nothing short of amazing. Stella changed Luca, and Luca changed Stella. Love is changing for your better half.
