If you don't have an adequate hood that ventilates to the exterior, you should not buy this! It has an old-school pilot light system, meaning there's no electric start.On the positive side, it arrived on time, and the delivery was prompt and expertly packaged. There wasn't a single scratch or mark. This company offers white glove service and setup, but we didn't opt for that. If you do you have to fill out an application and do it before you purchase it so contact the seller.It's massive! It weighs 500 lb and will require four men to move it into place. You have to install everything yourself, including the feet and stainless steel back with shelf.One great aspect of this piece of equipment is that there are NO ELECTRONICS! As far as I'm concerned, that's fantastic because it's usually the electronics that break. We had an expert appliance technician who was familiar with the Vulcan system come in to calibrate the oven and a plumber hook up the gas line.The calibration for the oven was only off about 8 to 10° f and it's easy to adjust You just move the numbers lolThe burners are tremendous and have adequate flame to make anything you desire on the stove top! You will saute your food! It does not boil which is what happens when you have inadequate heat to the volume of whatever you're looking to cook.I'll fill in more later but so far I'm giving it five stars.

My Husband loves his stove! We remodeled our kitchen, the stove was his baby. We do cook alot, and this stove was highly rated for the price.
