Very nice little clip. I ordered this because other reviews said it would probably be best for thin, fine hair, which I have. Every other clip I've tried becomes loose even when I don't do anything, I imagine because they're made for thicker hair. They tend to be difficult to put in as well. This one went in super easy and after a head banging test it didn't release a single stand of hair.It is metal with a firm grip, about two inches wide. If you have fine hair, get this clip.

Bought this clip for my daughter who loves Hello Kitty but I didn't pay attention to size specs and when my daughter tried it on, it to small to hold up her ponytail. My daughter has long thick hair and clip would not grab around to hold it in place. She can still use it but more like for decorative purposes. I do think this clip would work great for thinner hair and secure in place. Clip itself is pretty strong and a cute pink color. Wish this clip came in a larger size.

If I could give 4.5 stars I wouldThis hairclip is made of metal but is much smaller than I expected. It looks like more of a child-sized hairclip. However I have fine hair so thankfully it holds! Otherwise I am quite happy with it!

I thought this would be a normal claw clip. Which is why I bought it for my daughter. The pictures entailed that. It’s tiny. About half the size of my thumb. Plus it’s made of metal the teeth are sharp. I wouldn’t recommend.
