You need a magnifying glass to read the pattern and there's a mistake in the directions. Not the easiest instructions to follow. Mine turned out ok. My next one will be better...

This product is not for beginners. The hooks are too small, so the yarn fragments into smaller threads when being worked. The instructions are on-line somewhere, but you have to search hither and yon to find them. Cheap junk. If you gift this, you can expect that the recipient will swear off crochet crafting forever.
