E7024 1/8" Premium Stick Electrode 10 lbs

I love this 7024 jet rod. The only thing is it’s a strictly horizontal welding rod. It works great on AC current.

They are in a plastic sleeve outside cover in clear wrap. Inside another wrap and a thick foil airtight wrapper that I had to cut out with a knife. . I was worried they would arrive broken but worried for nothing. They arrived in great shape and weld great. Very happy with these rods .

These sticks glob out so much material so quickly that they are fun to use. They put out these really thick, pretty beads. I have a piece of 3/16” practice steel that i use to test new sticks. You can either let it sit there for a crazy thick bead, or you can weld fast and cover a large area without having gaps in the weld. The 3/16” steel i have is a 36” long bar and when i welded quickly, this stick covered damn near the entire length of the work piece. Great for running flat and horizontal welds, but if you try to use this on anything where gravity will effect your weld, it will drip all over the place because it takes a long time to get a good solid puddle freeze. I dig them.
