Nice glass dome makes this such an impressive piece. Big enough for baked goods but also amazing for cheese and meat displays. The wooden base is very nice and solid.

This dome is cute, but the top is very fragile…like a wine glass.

I ordered the Acacia wood choice size 7.8 in dia. The wood plate is smooth and beautiful, no rough spots on either side. The glass dome is clear and sturdy. This is perfect to display smaller desserts such as mini muffins, donut holes, small pastries, petifores, cookies. My photos show that it holds a whole 8x8 square tray of brownies that I baked.

This is a very attractive cake keeper. I’ve been looking for one that is very simple in appearance and this fit the bill. It is substantial. One note - it’s tall, and my cabinets are not capacious - this sits on top.

I am using for a Christmas display of some of my ornaments. It does come with a board, but wasn't needed for my purposes. Yes, the glass is a little thin, which works well to see what's inside. I like it!

love this but have had it 3 months and the wood split. haven't even washed it, it's been dry and only used once a week to store a loaf of sourdough.
