Good quality construction, pretty easy to install
Needed to relocate the license plate on our Class C motor home after adding a spare tire carrier to the trailer hitch receiver.Since this particular carrier really blocked the license plate where the original plate is located.I spotted this kit that included a new light, and ordered it.While the instructions are fairly limited, if you have experience with drilling in fiberglass it is pretty easy to install this.I first used blue painters tape to cover the area where the holes would be drilled. Then I positioned the holder/frame and uses a small level to make sure the plate would be level. Then I marked the two holes to drill for mounting.I started with a fairly small drill and kept increasing until I had a hole that was just large enough to work the two nylon screw clips into place. Finally I temporarily mounted the holder and light and located where to drill a hole for the wire for the light. I used the smallest drill that would allow the wire to fit.Note of course that you need to verify that there is nothing behind where you need to drill like wires or hoses, etc. And, of course, if you are just using this as a fancy frame for your existing location then it is easier to install.I put the four supplied self adhesive pads on the corner of the plate and the frame on the back side. In addition I added some additional self adhesive tape to provide more protection for the fiberglass where I installed the holder/plate.In my case I had easy access to the rear of the fiberglass, it might be more difficult in other installations. One other review I had read before purchasing complained about cheap plastic and breaking when installing. The frame is metal as advertises. The LED light is plastic and as such you need to use some caution when tightening the mounting screws.I didn't have any issues due to tightening the mounting crews. At present the LED light is working great, time will tell how it holds up.Once I was ready to mount I fed the wire through the small hole

Worked well for our 2005 Nissan Quest
The front license plate on our old van had taken a beating over the years, with minor dings and scrapes. The holder was cracked, but the bumper was fine. The plate was a little torqued, but was still usable.Getting the OEM plate holder off was not difficult, and I was relieved to find the bumper underneath damage free. This substitute plate holder fit one of the holes well, while the other side had a vertical slot that was usable. I attached the holder to the existing holes and made sure the screw in the vertical slot was extra tight. Getting the plate on the holder was a piece of cake. I used the security screws that came with the holder, which made things easy. The holder has held up fine, and was an easy and cost-effective solution.

Fit well on a car I couldn't find a bracket for.
I recently purchased a car out of Florida. It appears that in Fl. the cars aren't required to have a front license plate, so it seems that when the dealer does the new car delivery they don't put the factory supplied one on and they don't leave it in the car for the customer if they want it for further dates. The state I live in (Virginia) you are issued two tags and the front and rear must be securely mounted. The car I got was in nice shape and I would have liked to have had a factory tag bracket, but I looked everywhere online. Even websites specific to this car (Genesis) could not help, nothing on e-bay , I couldn't find anything factory.I was reluctant to put an "erector set" drilled to the bumper , but the bumper did have dimples where the factory bracket was meant to go, and there were sections that all matched up and all the hardware would assemble clean and tight. It looks good although it does lean back about at a 10-15 degree angle, but looks fine.

Street legal now, thanks to this bracket!
I moved to Virginia from Florida and needed to show a front license plate. Toyota, for some reason, never imagined this possibility. Had to drill a couple of holes through the (plastic) bumper to install the bracket, but it works fine. Plenty of hardware options provided.Important to keep the screws tight so it doesn't slide down. I liked the theft-resistant design.

Does not line up with the Audi front mounting plate
This is an okay product, but I had to make some adjustments to make it work. First the holes on the Audi front mounting area did not line up with any of the openings on the bracket. I had to drill through the bracket to center it. Then when I went to put the license plate frame on with the provided screws and plastic concealer dots, the left side would not catch the threads unless the plastic washer cap was removed. The right side had no issues but for whatever dressing the left side was just coming up short. So I ended up mounting the plate without the hideaway black dots. It ultimately works but the screws need to be a little bit longer and the mounting bracket needed to be altered to work for me.
