Used to scan 120 film
I bought this to scan 120 film. It’s surprisingly bright and the colours are very accurate. I’ve not had any issues scanning with it. It’s a one button control so it’s quick and easy to use

Very bright and works well
I'm using this to sort through old negatives. I find that it is very bright when turned up to maximum with it's only fault being that it can be temperamental to switch off many times it is just easier to un plug the power cord. Otherwise I can't fault it. The 4 x magnets which come with the magnetic version are well designed and don't scratch the negatives being held flat. Very occasionally I would have liked to have a couple of magnets extra but I don't believe you can buy matching ones anywhere.Good value, good buy hope this helps.

Simple to use, and effective
Easy to use. Does the job of transferring negatives to digital image with my camera. Reasonable price and easy to store.Just need to do more work to get the image inverted to a positive...

The light box is easy to set up and reliable
I like the size of it and the brightness I used my mobile at first and the one of my cameras with a macro lens on a tripod think this is the best way for quality and then edited in photoshop thanks Amazon once again👍🏻

Software does not work!
The light box is ok and as usual Amazon delivered promptly, thanks again Amazon. However, the software that is suggested simply does not work on Apple computers, not sure about windows etc.Attempting to open an image scanned using this light box produces an error message "Could not complete your request because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete)"I have tried this on Photoshop, Nikon NX studio, and others and all give the same error message.The Lightbox is ok as it is neat and tidy and is easy to use but if you use an Apple PC do not but it or find another software package that actually works.Fortunately, I have a very good full size scanner, which I bought on Amazon many years ago and it is still going strong. The lighbox I would normally use is damaged beyond repair so I can put up with this stopgap in the meantime.
