Not for the perfectionist collector
While I didn't expect a perfect specimen from Amazon, and this size, for this price, I was a little disappointed by the one entire side of this bismuth. It was fine for us, as it was a gift for an obsessed 8 year old, but were it for me, an avid collector, I would find it unacceptable. The side with the most geometric detail also happens to be the side with, I dont know what to call it, flux? Raw metal? Otherwise it's a nice piece, it is large, and it made my daughter happy, so I am compelled to give it the 4 stars.

Beautiful Colors!
This crystal specimen is beautiful. The extra large is about 2 inches long, so I am glad I got the biggest size. Some pieces do flake off, so you need to handle carefully.
