9205L Big & Tall Lift Recliner & ChairThis chair is huge, and a perfect fit for a tall person, and also a bigger person. The extension on the foot rest is a plus for an extra tall person. However, the chair has a large gap between the seat and back when completely flat or reclined and has no support. Also, the chair I purchased, I could feel the frame across the bottom of my back when reclined. If not for this one flaw, I would have kept the chair and used a pillow for the area with the gap.I inquired about feeling the frame across the back and thought I'd be sent another chair because of the specific flaw in the chair, but they said the chairs are made by hand and the padding had probably shifted, and it would cost me 120.00 to return the chair. I had no choice but to return the chair, because I couldn't use it while reclined.The chair was solid, but not as comfortable as what I thought it would be, in fact it was more than firm, but being for a larger person, that was probably the reason. It is not like a pillow and not soft, rather it's firm, but not uncomfortable. I wish they would have replaced or repaired my chair. I really wanted a chair that completely laid flat.Also, the foot rest doesn't go high enough unless laying flat. I'm not the only one mentioning this in the reviews and also not the only one mentioning the gap between the seat and back.

Chair was received and it is a very nice chair. Two weeks later the remote wiring came out and left the chair in a reclining position and a bedridden individual without a chair or a place to sleep. The extended warranty was purchased at the time of the sale and when the company was contacted and advised of the situation and told it was sort of an emergency situation. Replied they will get the part ordered and sent probably taking 3 or 4 days. When we checked if the part had been shipped the next day we were told one part was but the other has to come from overseas. This is not acceptable and the company doesnt seem to care. Be careful ordering this chair because they could care less.

Purchased a lift chair from Irene House for a relatve that is recently experiencing health issues affecting mobility. The chair worked as advertised, but because did not fit my family member, so my family member would not use it. Irene House contacted me several times, by phone, and by email. They refunded my original purchase. This company stands behind their products and, in my experience, Irene House wants it's customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. I will be ordering another Irene House lift chair in the near future. We need more companies like this.

We purchased this chair in gray faux leather.It came with pillow.The heat setting on high is fine not hot...The massage portion is ok if you need mid to upper back vibration. It's not at all like a shiatsu.You can feel the buzzing and slight back vibration.If you need lower back help this is not going to help at all.You can use the chair without the heat or without the message those are on a separate remote that fits in a pocket on side of chair. The lift recline etc is on its own remote.The chair is fine but over 5'5" your feet will not be on the foot rest but hang off. I'd tell you it's more vibration than message. There are different patterns but not a message.

Finally, a chair that fits me. I'm 6'4", 250 pounds and this chair allows me to recline without dangling my feet.I've been looking for a big man chair for a while, going to various furniture stores and finding nothing I liked (most don't have big man chairs on display). So after much thought and research I decided on this chair and I'm very glad I did.The chair arrived in 3 boxes; you'll need an extra person to carry in the base, it's heavy! *Side note, two boxes arrived first, third was delayed a day due to damaged shipping label* Assembly was pretty easy with the included instructions. The only confusion came when assembling the arms: they're labeled LSF &RSF, so not knowing what that means, I put LSF on the left, RSF on the right. They didn't quite fit nor look correctly. Then it dawned on me; LSF means Left Side Facing, RSF is Right Side Facing (or front?) Switched the arms and it worked.Hooking up the power cords was easy because all connections are color coded. Match the colors and done.Now for the late third box. I called customer service, was answered within one minute and after asking about the box, I was told it's on it's way, was told about the damaged label, even given a FedEx tracking number by text so I could confirm what customer service said. So with my limited interaction with customer service, I have to say it was excellent!Do you know what is like to have a recliner that actually fits you? To have a recliner that lies flat and not have dangling feet? With massage function? I could feel the stress and tension just melting away.One item I would highly recommend is a quality surge protector for the two motors. I live in Florida where lightning is a fact of life. Don't want to burn out those motors!This is a great chair, supremely comfortable, and with the amazing customer service, you can't go wrong.
