MY daughter loves elephants. Unfortunately last one like this she had was made of porcelain and our cat knocked it over and broke it. Thankfully this one is not made of such a fragile material as that. Yes it’s made of plastic but it’s a durable plastic and the sculpture of the elephant is done well. Also the paint in it also is done well. Considering seeing boys action figures that are just colored plastic now a days with almost no paint except the eyes and hair u just don’t see paint on them any more.. and they cost $20 to $50 for that. So this item that is made of better plastic than that of a kids action figure and it comes with great detailed painting all at a lower price for one of those action figures.. yeah I’m impressed. This is a good get for my daughter or other

Forget giving this to a kid, I am keeping if for myself!! It is exquisitely designed, very realistic, warm colors and very well done design!!! I put it up on my shelves of dozens of elephants I have spent hundreds of dollars on and bought all over the world and this little guy fits right in and looks as gorgeous as all the others that cost SO much more!!
