Excellent, Bright, Fitted in Minutes
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this LED tube to replace a traditional fluorescent type which had recently stopped working. I opted for the LED version for its performance and longevity, choosing this particular model based on positive reviews and its straightforward installation. The product arrived containing the new tube and starter motor. Installing it was easy and fast; it took less than five minutes, including the removal of the old tube. While instructions weren't included and weren't really necessary, it could have been reassuring to have something for anyone unfamiliar with this type of light fitting. The tube is made from plastic rather than glass, which relieves worries of accidental shattering.I noticed a faint dark stripe along one side, likely the internal fitting of the rear of the LEDs. When fitted this is on the upper side so it doesn’t impede the light emission at all.The replacement fuse/starter motor fitted easily as a direct swap with the old one, just like the tube itself. When switched on, it worked instantly without any problems at all.Among the three options—warm white, cool white, and daylight—I chose the daylight option. It emits a clear, bright, natural daylight type of hue. After years of traditional fluorescent tubes in the kitchen, it’s quite a pleasant relief to have instant light when switched on, without any noise or strobing. All good so far.-Pros:• Quick and simple to fit• Instant light• No humming sound• Low power consumption• Long lifespan-Cons:• Relatively expensive compared to traditional fluorescent tubesOverall, this is an excellent replacement, and I wouldn’t relish going back to the old days of switch, pause, flashing, and white noise. Other than the price, I can’t think of any downsides; I’m very pleased I made this choice, so it’s five stars from me.Thanks for reading, I hope you found this review helpful

Very good replacement
Used these for the kitchen where we have 2 of these type of light fitting. One of the old flourescent ones was failing so I decided to buy 2 of these to replace both.So glad I did. Replaced 2 x 30 fluorescent with these. I wasnsure if I had to replace the starters with the provided LED ones, but I did anyway. They worked straight away.Very good level of brightness. Instantaneous light with no flickering and should save a few pence. Would recommend. They went straight into an old fitting from probably the 80's with no bother. These seem to be a very good retrofit for old bulbs. They are about half the thickness of the old tubes but the contacts are the same so I carried on and they were fine. Would recommend. One side of the light has a different finish to the other, it looks like an overlap on the coating of the tube. Just make sure that is pointing up and you are good. I know it seems obvious but I also know there are a lot of people here unsure if they can replace old bulbs with these. You probably can. If they worked on my old fittings they would probably work on most people's.Takes about 3 minutes to swap each. The fiddly bit is putting the starter in.

Low energy fluorescent bulb replacement
Direct replacement for a fluorescent tube with a warm and bright LED supplied with the a starter so that the old fitting can be utilised. Turns on instantly. The unit arrived more quickly than expected, and while the starter had been damaged in transit (the bulb was fine) the seller had a replacement part delivered within 24 hours.

Bright white fluorescent replacement
I paid too much really, especially when you see it 4 quid cheaper a couple of days later. Which won't matter if it lasts for the number of years that the previous fluorescent tube did. Anyway I needed it in a hurry and it came within 2 days. And it was all intact. It's a 30 second job to replace the tube, the starter is a bit more fiddly and you need an amount of pressure. That said it was all done in a couple of minutes. Then I had to take tube out and reinsert so the seem was not visible, but you can't see that until us illuminated.I am pleased with the level light. It's brighter than the old fluorescent and takes less than half the energy.Overall I am satisfied with this. It's a good replacement for the outdated fluorescent. I am still slightly surprised by not having the stuttering start every time I switch on, but hopefully this will be fit and forget. I deduct a star for high price and not a le to register for 3 year warranty.

shed some light
my old flourescent light under the kitchen units has not worked for years ,however when looking for a smaller light bulb for another job,i came across this.It is supplied with the correct led starter ,and a choice of light output, arrived today, next day delivery, well packaged and as described. What a difference,a light that works,no flickering and the light intensity i need to work with.well worth the money. I cannot comment on the longevity but up tp now,i am happy.

Creased tube
The actual product works ok. However it was delivered with a crease in the middle! It could have been packaged better annoying really given it cost over £23

Starts immediately and bright.
Worked fineIf it has a black line across, rotate it through 180 degrees, as that's the back of the board the LED lights are mounted on.Make sure you use the starter that came with it as rearranges the wiring to suit the LED tube. The light fitting was about 25 years old.
