A really great knife
I love this knife, it's very well made and arrived extremely sharp straight out of the packet, it looks great ,it has a great grip even when it's wet the marlinspike is maybe a little bit stiff but not a huge problem, a few reviewers stated that it was a problem not having anywhere to connect a lanyard ,personally I just drilled a hole through the marlinspike release mechanism enabling me to connect a small ring and the a lanyard took about 5 minutes and no big problem, I would definitely buy another one and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a sharp knife for boating.

Nice quality worth the price
Build quality is Vgood feels substantial. Was cheaper then the PETZL knife bought at the same time. And the PETZL handle is 90% plastic and more practical for underwater, whereas this CUDA is titanium and almost full metal screwed construction. A nice piece of kit. I’m not knocking the PETZL however value for money and build quality appear to be more substantial by far on the CUDA knife

What a great knife
Really good quality. The blade comes very sharp with excellent serrations, and the marlin spike is solid. The locking mechanism on the spike works well but some say it gets in the way. Personally I don't mind. The original knives had anodized blue aluminium handles. Now they're tough plastic, but that's progress I guess...

Good value for money.
Nice bit of kit. Very similar to a Pussers dirk, but far more comfortable to handle because of the molded grip. The blade is very sharp and also has a serrated edge. The tip of the spike is slightly rounded, which prevents paracord projects from becoming shredded when working with tight splicing. Very happy with my purchase.

Icarus Like Perfection
Brilliant product in most regards, however, the shackle gets in the way a lot as it in now way collapses making the marlin spike harder to use. Might resort to cutting the shackle off if it gets in the way again.
